As a Life Member of National Health & Wellness Club, I have been trying to log into their website for over 6 months now. I called the tel. no on the back of my card and was given another tel. no to call. When I called this number I was told that the club was taken over by someone else. I asked if my life membership was still valid and they said yes. I was told the data had to be inputed into their system and then I could log in. I called every month and was lied to and told it wasn't completed yet. on 9/8/11 I spoke with Zach who told me an email would be sent to me when the website was up and running. It should be complete by 12/1/11. I tried calling the tel. no 800 668-6201 and it is not in service. There is still a website for Nat'l Health and Wellness with a member services email, but when I send an email I get no reply. As a lifetime paying member I feel I have been ripped off by this club. I was told that they are part of alternativemedicine.com and naturalsolutionsmag.com. How do the lifetime members who paid up front locate these scam artists and report them so no one else gets taken advantage by them????? |

I'm also a Life Member of the National Health and Wellness Club. I joined in 2000 when the club was in its infancy and very active with its own monthly magazine, free samples, contests and product testing. I received a set of pots and pans with life membership. After a few years, the NHWC arranged for members to receive Prevention magazine free of charge in lieu of the club's own publication.
I haven't received an issue of Prevention for at least two months, and with the last one was a notice that my subscription was about to expire. The last time I received a test product was about two years ago. It's near the top of the list on their website so it must've been one of the last products tested. When I click on the link to test a product now, a message says there's no testing at this time. I noticed, too, on the website that there have been no contests since 2010 and no activity on the forums since 2010.
My sister is also a life member and says she hasn't received anything from the club for a long time. It's pretty obvious that the National Health and Wellness Club is floundering financially, but I think they really owe an explanation to their members. Some people who've complained joined in 2010 and haven't received any club benefits in return for their money. |
