My UK Delivery Failed to refund me! London, Other |
2nd of Aug, 2011 by User264779 |
9 weeks ago 'My UK Delivery' arranged for me to collect and deliver a large mirror i sold on Ebay. Collecting from UK Northampton and delivering to UK Sunderland. The company they chose to do this for me failed 2 times to collect so in the end i had to drive and drop it off to them. The name of the delivery company is called 'City Link'. They attempted to deliver it to a buyer in Sunderland and even though i well packed it and covered it with fragile labels etc they still managed to brake it. I spoke with City Link regarding this and they admitted liability and will refund the 185 total i lost on this. I eventually got through to calling My UK Delivery and they took the details over the phone and said i will have to wait a maximum 6 weeks but it should be earlier as its a straight forward case. Since then i have emailed and called MY UK Delivery for updates and they fail to even respond. It has now been 9 weeks and i have not had a refund of the 185 i lost not have i had any updates even though i emailed as requested by them on many occasions. To call them is a nightmare and eventually when i got through a girl called Becky answered and she said she cant help me as refunds is not in her job role, she could not even give me the number for her manager but kept repeating i should email which i have done several times only to be ignored. This company either didnt apply to get my money from City Link or if they did then they do not wish to give me my money back. They are a cowboy company and ripped me off! |

I too used this company for a collection of an item from Berkshire uk to Cheshire uk. I asked them to pick the item up on a specific date as the seller was going on holiday and they failed to collect it. I rang that day and was told I would receive a call back within 20mins and never received that call. I rang the next day and also spoke to a girl called becky. She was extremely irritating and not helpful in the slightest, she just kept repeating I will e-mail that job to the manager and see if he can fit it in. I asked for the managers number but she said he doesn't have one and she just has to e-mail him. I rang every hour from 9am until 5pm and got this response every time. DO NOT USE MY UK DELIVERY, they surely have to be a bogus company as I have never experience a company run like that in all my life. I too have not received the courier service I paid for or a refund. Stay well clear of this awful company. |

I agree with all the above comments as it has happened to myself also. 'Becky' is like a stone to talk to[in other words you may just as well talk to a stone]. She is part of this scam. I have forwarded details to BBB's 'ROGUE TRADERS' and would also encourage others to do the same.I got ripped off £85.00 for a service that wasen't provided. There must be a lot more people out there who have also been ripped off but haven't or don't know how to complain. I don't beieve that their is such a courier company. |

I agree they failed to collect my item on 2 separate occasions. Talking to Becky is a joke as she knows nothing. I sent a recorded delivery letter to their website address citing Breach of Contract & demanding a refund & it was returned undelivered! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY |
