My son ordered, online, a rebuilt transmission for his 1996 Chevrolet pickup back on Jan. 26, 2011. He was told that he would have to provide a credit card number for payment (could not ship COD). I called the telephone number provided on Monday, January 31, 2011 (spoke with Jeff) my credit card number for payment of this transmission. Jeff assured me that my son would receive it by the end of that week. It has been 2 weeks now - and still no transmission!!! We have called several times (both myself and my son have called); and either Jeff does not return our calls, or he keeps telling us that the tranny was shipped out "last night". "Last Night" has been going on for a week and a half and NO TRANNY has arrived in WI. Jeff provided my son with a Tracking Number thru the trucking company who was supposed to deliver it -- the tracking number does not EXIST. My son has called the trucking company and they have no pickup order for that company to deliver to my son's address in WI. I have called twice now and left voice messages for Jeff to call me and tell me where that transmission is; however, he will not return my phone call. My son called again yesterday (02/10/2011) and was told by Jeff that he would have to talk to Kevin to get this straightened out. Kevin took the "fall" for this mess and said that there was a mix-up and that it would be shipped out yesterday afternoon and that the tracking number provided earlier is the correct number. As of this morning - the tracking number still does not show up on the trucking system. Jeff at Transmission Parts Distribution in Saginaw, MI took my $625 out of my checking account on 01-31-11 but failed to ship the transmission to us in WI. I believe it is time to take this guy/company to COURT - they are scams and need to pay for their Dishonesty and Lies. Potential Buyers Beware - Do Not Buy From This Place! |
