My family was in need of help moving from one town to another. Because of money being very tight with this recession we were trying to save as much money with the move as possible. After pricing different companies we thought we got lucky when I came across "Movers Corp". Big Mistake, they turn our move into a move from hell. And instead of saving us money we ended up paying triple what the cost the quoted online. This company is a scam, they pretend to be serious and business like and make you feel comfortable with your choice. Then after they have your money already, they go in for the kill. I am sure they use different scenarios for diifferent situations, but with our situation they told us to fill out the form and write in any extra information that the company would need to know to better serve you. I did that and gave them the address and date and exact time that we needed them to show up because we were renting the truck on our own for one day to save us money. I got a follow up email from them stating everything we had told them and was told everything was taken care of and that they would be there to help us load and unload our truck.The moving day came and my husband got the truck and we waited and waited, nobody showed up. I was finally able to get the owner "Arthur" on the phone by pretending to be a different person who was looking for help with a move. When I finally got him on the line he acted all apologetic and concerned. He said he would try and find other movers to come. As we were stuck and did not know at the time that this company was a money making scam, we went along with him. Six hours pasted and he called and said he found a company to do the move and they would be their in one half of a hour. This turned into hours and we already enlisted friends to come over and help us move and bail us out. Then 3 very nonprofessional men showed up at our door and said they were going to help us move because the were contacted by Arthur. They had just finished a move and said how tired they were and the one young fellow had a large cut on his hand that was gushing blood. While we help the man with the wound the other two wasted 2 hours and hardly moved anything into the truck. They said they would come back tomorrow and finish the job. We had no other recourse then to accept it and keep the truck another day and hope they would get the move done in a few hours the following day. They again showed up late and were still vey unprofessional and dragged out the moving job as many hours as possible. All the while cracking jokes and having them selves a good time. By the end of the move they racked up several more hours then we had approved with "Movers Corp". They insisted that we pay them for not only the extra hours but for the extra day of travel and the gas and millage. I was very upset and told them no we had not agreed on any of this charges.They said we would have to call "Arthur" and have him reimburse us since it was there mistake in the first place. They woulds not leave without the money and were getting agitated and frightened me. They were 3 large black men wearing gang type of clothing. So I told my husband to just pay them. So we did and then the next day we tried to get a hold of Arthur and we finally were successful but he said he was not responsible and that we should just have not paid them. Now we had paid triple what we were quoted and we got no apologizes or remorse for there mistakes. And were told we would get no money back from their company. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with and the most unprofessional. This was a move from hell and I wish that I would have checked more thoroughly this companies reputation. All that I can say is never to hire movers from this company. Learn from my mistake and pay extra if need be to find a very reputably company because it is worth it in the end. The worst moving company ever and the worst company to ever deal with. This will go down in our history as "The Move From Hell"!
