Mott Community College MCC Completely harassed to such an extent I was forced to leave an education I worked towards for four years, Flint , Michigan

I had hopes and dreams to become a nurse. I attempted MCC to pursue a nursing degree. I was put on a terrible four year waiting list, bit did not let that sway my objection. Finally I made it into the MCC nursing program. I was doing fine, grades were good, and I enjoyed my experiences in the clinical setting. That was until I ran into an instructor who I will not name, who bullied, harassed, I Intentionally for lack of a better word, stalked me while in clinical. I was distressed emotionally and physically due to her continued harassment. She threatened to write me up for speaking my option and she did. I did everything in my power to keep plugging alone. I could take no more and after speaking with the nursing advisors, counselors and dean I was basically forced to leave. After I left I wrote to the President of MCC, the Dean of Students and even wrote the Senator of my county. Nothing was done. I was simply another number pushed aside. I never received an apology or a guarantee that if I came back this instructor would have no further contact with me. It's a shame how this college took money and did not care about how one of their own emotionally abused a fellow student. Now I'm seeking another college where I will have to start all over again I'm order to pay off the over 22K in student loans. There should be a better avenue for such complaints at MCC, but apparently no matter how hard you work, you are simply a number at MCC
