Motor Group Online/Frank SOLD ME A PIECE OF JUNK! AND WAS EVEN RUDE ABOUT IT! BUYERS BEWARE!!! Miami, Florida |

I bought a 2001 Toyota Celica GTS from The Motor Group Online on eBay, which said they had 1000+ positive feedback with 100% score. The ad showed no flaws except maybe $50-$100 worth of repair to be done. I received the car, and the SHIPPER showed me over $2000+ of repairs that needed to be done(hole in leather seat size of my fist, cigarette lighter, ash tray, and bottom grille completely missing, dashboard backlight doesn't even work to see how fast you're going at night, holes in the floor, the back sounds like its about to come apart because the fasteners are missing, etc etc..) I tell Mr. Frank about it and he basically laughs in my face and disregarded me along with a threat if I left negative feedback. I report it to eBay and they say the car is over 10 years old, so they won't do anything about it. Therefore I leave a negative feedback, the only one out of 1000+ positives (strange right?). I get a message from a member that bought from The Motor Group on eBay and the member told me that my negative will be taken down, just like his (even stranger..). Sure enough, 2 weeks later, my negative comes down. I'm furious at this point. Then I get a message from "NetNeutrals" that my negative has been taken down because of reasons that were completely untrue. I searched out about NetNeutrals, and the seller can pay them $100 to take down negatives off their account, no matter what the buyer says or even has proofs about. I call eBay about Mr. Frank taking down my negative, and they basically told me that they can't do anything about it because it was handled from Net Neutrals along with them telling me that Mr. Frank has had SEVERAL negatives taken down from his profile (The reason why i was the "only negative" at the time). So along with a treat from Mr. Frank and a piece trash that wasn't worth 1/3 what I paid, he gets away with every single negative that has been put on his eBay account. BUYERS BEWARE!!

Same thing happened to me but my nightmare isnt over, they did not supply the title to the vehicle i bought, a 2001 Mercedes SLK 230, the temp plates have expired and surprise surprise, they wont answer my emails or calls. The car was listed as in good condition, drives and shifts smoothly. The dash is falling apart, the headlights go out on their own, the doorlocks activate everytime yo go over a bump, the leather seats were spray painted black to look good in the pics! the traction control kicks in and out on its own as you dive and the transmission shifts so violently its practically undriveable. But the worst is I cant send it in for repair because i have no title, technically I dont own the car despite having a receipt for the $6, 700 paid.
I was approached to buy this car outside of ebay after the winning bidder dropped out. Do not beleive the feedback rating, its a scam. Ive filed complaints with the BBB and the Florida Attorney General and the DMV dealers licensing unit. BEWARE!!s |
