sold sick kitten to me in vet then ER in first 24 hours |
1st of Jan, 2012 by tserenity |
put a down payment of 100 dollars on a sphynx kitten dec 16th 2011, awaiting health check from vet. picked up kitten dec 16th 2011 paid balance of 400 dollars. received kitten and health check. while picking up kitten the sales person made a comment it sounded like it burped or something???? this was at about 3:30 pm. late that evening the kitten was making this news repeatedly and seemed to be having problems breathing. took kitten to the vet that next morning not even 20 hours of having the kitten. it had pneumonia, left lung full right lung partially. i have dvd copies as the vet stated it was near emergent for ER vet.so i took the kitten back home. a few hours later he started having more difficulty breathing and color changes in gums along with gasping. by 11:10 pm on dec 17th 2011 he was in an oxygen tank getting nebulizers and round the clock care. when i contacted alan harding he said probably due to having shots and then the shock of moving the kitten had become sick. he also said if i could not care for the kitten to bring him back and he could. By this time I had already received medical care as I am attached to this baby and did not want him to pass. Now it is dec. 31st 2011 and my baby is still sick, still on antibiotics and no call no concern from alan harding. not to mention all of the complaints and bad reports I have found have me very concerned. My other 2 kitties have become sick from the kitten as well. I am well over 12oo dollars into this kitten and dont see an end anytime soon. I also met a young lady while picking up the kitten from the Emergency vet that was taking her puppy in with breathing difficulty and pneumonia purchased from Alan Harding as well. I did get her name and number as well. I have kept all my documentation, in order as I am determined to see something done. It is breaking my heart seeing this tiny kitten so sick. |

Dear, health has a COST, but has no VALUE. Think about it. Every effort you´re doing is worth it. After recovering, the baby cat will have long years by your side, so be strong and you´ll never regret it. Pneumonia is a treatable condition, so be strog.
Once I´ve had a baby Bull Terrier that came with mange, amoeba and Ancylostoma, all in a singl pack! I can still remember the nights I spend awaken by his side giving him medicines until complete recovery. Worht it, never regreted. Now he´s strong, well built, 12 yo and plays like if were younger.
Be strong, never give up treting your beloved ones. They have no one to look after them, but you.
Don´t give up. |

Doesn't Florida have a lemon law concerning pet sales? That breeders can't sell sick kittens
or puppies? I would think that animal control would be in charge of enforcing that law? And
you should be able to get every dime back that you paid to make kitten well (and the other
buyer who got the sick puppy too). I would check it out if I were you. |
