I have been in the internet business a long time, and this guy ALMOST had me fooled. We often get overseas orders, thus his requests did not seem too suspicious, until we had so much trouble with the credit cards. The credit card companies kept telling us that the issue was his bank, and at first it was our method of taking cards on our ecart etc; etc; But because his English was good, his phone number and addresses checked out etc; etc; we thought it was legit, UNTIL we Googled it and found this listing. We have changed all of the numbers etc; in this listing, and our names etc; but wanted the public to see how sophisticated these thieves in Nigeria are becoming.....
These transmissions are reading from the latest to the earliest, TOP to BOTTOM.
Issued solved, below is my credit card, process the amount of $ $3,290.00 for the first charge and $2,970.00 for the second totaling $6,260.00 and get back to me.

We tried the card with the CVV code…. Still declined. (Authorize.net said that your bank is probably blocking the attempt due to the amount….) The two screenshots show how it was attempted. (the reason my email is in there, so we can see results)

I just heard back from my bank, they said without the verification code CVV, my card won’t be approved. I will call your office and speak to the accounting about it and see if he/she can process my card manually.

I had red flags the whole time and did some research to find this site with similar names, emails and method. So glad I didn't go through with it!!
When I emailed him back and told him I was on to his scam he responded:

when the red flags went up it was under scam reports about the address and the name it was sent to this page as a scam, so glad I checked it out, it sounded so legit and not out of the ordenary for to get such requests... would have been out over $3000 with the shipping costs and that would have shut me down as to I am a small business. Please never ship overseas without checking it out, greenland does reroute to Nigeria! Us is closing down most shipping to Nigeria so they are finding other ways to get it. These people should be shut down it is rediculus! Thank You for the heads up... So grateful I am... Larry |
