Be warn, the company is soooooooooooooo desperate to get hold of the clients, that once you paid through your card or paypal, THEY REGISTER DETAILS AND AUTAUMATICALLY RENEW YOU.
Even when you request non renewal, without you realising, once you make the payment, the details are held by them, and who would believe, within minutes of my renewal when i contacted them and explained that i had written to them several times, and requested not to be renewed, they renewed me, and then REFUSED TO REFUND . i find this attitude absolutely OUTRAGEOUS AND TRULY DISHONEST. THEY CAME UP WITH RUBBISH EXPLANAING THAT I HAD TO CALL THEM 2 DAYS PRIOR TO MY RENEWAL AND REQUEST THE CANCELLATION ON LINE. TOTAL RUBBISH, THAT IN WRITING REQUEST IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. Yet another scam to trap people for making money.

I agree completely. This kind of company should be punished by law for their scams.
Problems that I have had:
- It looks as if you've got answer from another client (potential partner), although it is a fake
- Suddenly they start to activate a membership with 40$/month even if I have not requested this; to cancel the membership involve so many steps that I didn't manage the first time
This company deserves no customers. Avoid! |

Match Affinity keep sending me notifications that so-and-so has marked me in their favourites. Strange when they have never visited my profile!
They send false reports !to entice you to pay to upgrade. BEWARE |

Hi
I have just singed up to Match affinity in the hope that it would do what it says on the tin and put me in contact with users in my area who have similar traits and personality.
I set my range to my area and 20 mile radius and the people it brings up are either up ti a hours drive away or have nit logged in for a month plus. I rang and explained and they told me i had used their "services" so they couldn't by policy refund me but said that they would get someone to look at my account and try and sort it and if they couldn't they would look into giving me the refund This never happened and all they offer me is to go on their scamming sister site Match.com (avoid this like the plague trust me)
I have collated a lot of screen shots and evidence but they blatantly refuse to help me. I have paid one installment of what i owed them (£60) and have two more to go (signed up for year of £180.
I also get email saying i have a new fan. when i log in the user is not even there and they say the users sometimes delete the profiles. This has happened about 15 times and the hassle you have to go through to delete your account with them it was impossible for them to do it by the time i had got the message and logged into see (instantly)
The customer service team there must share one brain cell amongst them because they just send you same response over and over again. They don't seem clever enough to understand. Maybe their helpdesk has been offshored to another country .
Basically this company is out to rip you off. please don't ever use this site. Go to www.pof.com or smooch they both free and are run by decent folk who care about their customers
Please pass this on to any friends or family when they talk about joining these criminals. Btw they also auto renew you which i don't know how they get away with it.. |
