march first I moved into my new place common wealth edison started my electric service march third from to the morning of january seventh I left home when I returned I noticed my electricity was off thinking it may be the breaker I called my landlord. after the landlord came to flick the swith the lights still didn't come on so I called common wealth edison to find out what was going on knowing I just paid the bill january first while speaking with a representative of common wealth edison I was informed that I had been on the wrong meter all this time. I informed the rep. that if I was on the wrong meter why are my lights off. a electrian was sent out to turn my lights back on and put me on another meter which I did not and still don't understand cause if I was on the wrong meter how were my lights working from that meter and I've been billed all these months. I was told by the representative I would be put on a different meter and given a new account number so two weeks later on the twenty first of january I received a bill for almost four hundred dollars how is that possible when I was just transfered to the meter weeks earlier. then during the snow storm a recording call my phone stated that customers need to report their meter reading so I did that the best I could like I know about meters and how they should be read then three days later I receive a bill for almost five hundred dollars really what is going on. the dates don't make since on my bills everytime I call they give me the run around comed is a scam company taking advantage of people and they need to be exposed on the first bill I was sent the dates are from march to january does that make since. that's a nine month bill I paid every bill every month why is my bill at this amount and why do I have two due in the same month I don't understand how common wealth edison feel they can do this to people it's not right. I was put on a different meter and a new account number my bill should be the same as it's always been I feel i'm being charged for someone else being on the meter I was transfered to how can comed try to have someone pay another person bill that's madness. I need help please common wealth edison can't get away with this.
