Passages Malibu Rehab Passages Malibu Passages is a scam!!! They do not cure, if they did they would cure Pax. Internet |

David Kaiser, Admissions and Marketing Director of Passages Malibu. I was introduced to Passages from David Kaiser. He told me, "I would be cured for $80,000!" Of course, money was not object to me and my health was more important. I spent the $80,000 and bought the book, "The Cure." I thought my life was going to change for the better. After being admitted, I realized something was wrong. My desire to use became overpowering and they could not "Cure Me!"
As a matter of fact, while I was in Passages, they tried to pursuede me to spend more money for additional services and ancillary. It was truly bizarre behavior. When I did some research, I realized that the Admissions and Marketing Director was incarcerated for some time for Embezzelment! WOW. If that wasn't enough to make my skin crawal! He also has a long wrap of crimes listed on the FBI's website.
When I arrived, I met Pax, who was out of it. Could not communicate and looked intoxicated. They informaed me that the founder, Chris Prentiss is in Hawaii with the "girlfriends". I also found out that Pax fathered a child, but did not take responsibility for this child. It is truly disgusting. Research it on your own and you will see what I mean.
Anyway, I wanted to voice my disgust to the public and let people beware of this money hungry business, who does not have the "CURE." If Passages had the cure, than Pax would be cured.
Stay away from PASSAGES! It is unsafe. Research the amount of people that have died after leaving passages in Malibu. It will break your heart that they consider advertising in such a fradulent manner!!! I don't know how the FCC lets them get away with the false claims! |

I am David Kaiser. Everything stated in the posting above, and in the comments also posted above, is 100% false. Everything posted above, including the first two comments, was written and posted by the owners of a different addition treatment center in the Malibu area – a competitor of Passages. Passages is the premier addiction treatment center in the world. I once worked there, and can attest to the extremely high quality of its program first hand. (Also, I was not the “admissions director” of Passages.) The people who wrote the statements above were unable to compete with the high quality of Passages’ program, and therefore they have resorted to acts of trade libel and identity theft, in the hopes that it somehow hurts Passages’ business, and helps theirs. I encourage anyone seeking addiction treatment services to ignore Internet postings like this one on the Internet (the culprits have posted the same thing on many other websites like this one), and instead call Passages and talk to them directly about their program and how it helps people recover from their addiction.
The truth is, this will all come out in Federal court in Pennsylvania. We have issued a subpoena for the IP address of these postings and will pursue all indentity theft claims against them, as well as bank fraud and tax evasion charges, as their documents have been submitted to the appropriate authorities. |

It seems unfair that people can post slanderous and untrue comments with the intention of harming someones reputation and business. I am troubled by the terrible complaint written by "user 140520" above. It seems the purpose of this is not to help anyone but simply to harm someones reputation. The complaint does not appear to be real - it does look like a competitor or someone trying to do great harm. |

Passages provides a much needed service. They do an outstanding job. I have known many, many people who have been given a new lease on life. |
