Per the advertisement on television one could purchase the Magic Mesh screen door for 19.95 and get a second one free. This consists of two mesh panals that part and connect back together with magnets placed along the middle edge. These two panels make one mesh door. Upon placing my online order I was offered the second screen door for an additional 7.95 shipping charge (I had already been charged this once for the first screen door ordered) so I declined the second door. They then made an offer to send me a second door for another 19.95 and I could skip the shipping charge, again I declined. I took the next offer to upgrade to a thicker mesh with a two year warranty for an additional $5.00. With my order complete and my credit card info. entered I was given my total. It came to just over $48.00. The order for the mesh door itself was 39.90, my upgrade was an additional 10.00, my shipping was 15.90 plus tax of 2.77. I live in California and this company is in CT. I usually am not charged sales tax unless my merchandise is shipped from a California address. I called the company for an explanation of my charges. Per Steve, the deal on television is to purchase only one panel so all charges are doubled since you need two panels for this product to even be used. Will never order from this company again.

| I ordered these screens on the internet and was unable to see a summary of my order, or see the shipping charges. I am being charged $47.70 for shipping. When I called to cancel the order, I was told it could not be canceled until four days from now. This is a rip-off, do not order from this company. |

Where do they even tell you the SIZE of the damn panels??? I looked all over their website - nothin'. (www.buymagicmesh.com)
These "only on TV" items are frequently found on the shelves in large chain stores like Walmart, Fry's Electronics, Target, etc. I would encourage people to go to the store and examine them in person. If you like what you see, you can get it right there and then (with no BS about inflated shipping charges or "allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery", during which time they are investing your cash and making money off it.) If the product winds up sucking, you can generally return it right to the store (returns to these fly-by-night stores are a nightmare!) |

| I placed an order for these screen doors on April 26, 2011 and as of today I still have not received them. I was told2-6 weeks. I called the end of May and was told they would ship on 6/5 when they did not arrive I called again and was told 7/5 so today when I called to check I was told by the end of the month. If they can't fill the orders they have now maybe they should stop running the TV ad!!! Is anyone else having this same problem?? |

I got charged double!!!
This checkout is set up to double the order... i.e. scam you.
I ordered one set = $19.95 which consists of two screens (buy one get one free). The first checkout page asks if this is what you want, so a reasonable person would check "yes". Well, this is actually a confirmation of whether or not you want a second set! There is no order confirmation at the end of checkout where you can review everything, they just double what you've ordered. I also got invoiced twice what I should have and it was a nightmare correcting it.
There should be a law against this kind of scam!!!

| I too ordered the Magic Mesh on April 24, 2011, Up date (July 26, 2011) I'm still waiting. I called today to cancel and was told I couldn't cancel because it was "in the process of being shipped" the same song and dance I've heard for the last couple month. Luckly they haven't charge my credit card. Also when ordering the checkout also doubled my ordertoo and there was no way to edit order or cancel I was stuck!!! And can't find the Corp Office to register a official complaint. I agree owners should get heifty fine and jail time. I have always been very careful in ordering but I guess the old warning still stands "buyer beware" |

| Total SCAM. Call your credit card company as I did to report the scam. I called customer service immediatly and got the run around that I had to call back days later. I guess so that they could process the payment and shipping and make it harder to contest. Assholes and elbows for sure. Their site is a total ripoff. |

| The same thing happened to us they bill us triple what it should have cost, double for the free one and triple for shipping. It wound up overdrawing our account. Called and we are not accepting this product when the mail comes. We may just go to the attorney Generals office in our state for fraud. |

Exactly double, therefore we should have been receiving FOUR in all! Watch out, stay away, bank has been notified and transaction canceled. Definitively plain in-your-face lie and scam. Also no notification email ever arrived after order was placed! |

I just can not believe how my order of something only costing $19.95 for 2 turned into a order coming to the amount of $107 and change.
When I saw the total amount, I tried to cancel IMMEDIATELY.
But one can not see the total amount being charged until it is to late and one has already been processed
and being billed

Had the same issue happen to me.. 3 things to say:
1) if you carefully read what they tell you on each screen you can avoid the double billing. I didn't, so I had the $71 charge also.
2) You can cance via the internet at the customerservice.com web site. I did, and the cancellation worked, and I ended up reordering the product a second time, the correct way so I didn't get double charged.
3) why the h#ll do they continue to advertise the product when they told me it wouldn't ship until the end of summer (after the hot season has passed)? I ended up canceling the 2nd order after waiting more than a month and not getting the product. |

Though I am sorry you are having so much trouble getting your money back. What a scam this company is. Yikes! I have always been wary of any TV merchandise offering you another one "free" when you pay s & h. Thanks again! |

| I have ordered many items from the "As seen on TV" . This product is by far the "cheeziest" product I have every seen in my life. Oh my gosh, have we all been duped!!! Not only is it inferior screening material, two of my magnets were broken. I had each person in my family walk thru it as she does on the infomercial, and NOT ONCE DID IT CLOSE, NOT ONCE!!! There is no substance to the fabric. Just plain cheezy! Stay away!!! We should all be reimbursed for the shipping and handling, and they should close them down! Very unhappy customer. Michele M. |

| Me too! Ordered. The regular 19.95 + $7.95 x2 tot total $35.85 Got charged 2x29.95 +processing $31.80 free shipping offer, not available without another add on . Total $ $91.70. After call delays of 30 hrs called and cancelled, then called credit card company to put them aware of pso called, cancelled order. Magic Mesh sounds like good idea but! Why all the add ons and mistakes . This ends my e mail On line ordering . Too bad for the honest Jack 2 |

| I had the same problem. I ordered mine two months ago, and still haven't received it. I just cancelled my order. Anyone have their phone number? I plan on making a huge stink if they don't refund my credit card in 48 hours. |

I ordered 2 of these in May, and it finally arrived yesterday, August 15. They sent me FOUR of them and charged my credit card $121.
In the mean time, because of the long delay, I had assumed they would never be shipped so I bought a wooden screen door. It has a wooden panel on the bottom, and we cut a hole in the and put a flap made out of screen, so the dogs can get in and out. It was the idea that dogs could get through the Magic Mesh screen that appealed to me in the first place. However our wooden screen door with our home made doggie door works very well so I don't need the Magic Mesh. I haven't opened them and don't want them.
However after reading about all the problems I suppose there isn't much chance I will ever get my money back even if send them back. What a rip off. I'm so stupid to have ordered them :-( |

| I'm soooo glad I saw all these complaints prior to ordering this product. I too have dogs and too many flies to count because our door is always open!! Well...back to the drawing board. |
