M768.com M768.com is Scamming BlackBerry and Internet Customers , Internet |

I purchased an App on the "BlackBerry World" website which has free and paid apps. When you search TV on the guide there are paid apps by M768.com with too good to be true claims such as: TV for Tablet HD TV; "TV for Tablet-actually watch television on your tablet!""Great selection of stations from U.S.A. (premium version includes Canadian channels)""Watch live and recorded TV episodes in real time-with no delays.""This is the real deal-watch TV on your tablet now." This app costs $9.99 and sounds too good to be true. To be able to watch live TV for only a one time fee of $9.99? NOT!!!!! M768.com is no different than the free TV apps by another company for only $1.99. No... Wait. The other company has a lot more channels to stream and many Canadian channels. M768 only has CBC that I could see on their so-called "Premium" channel for $7.99. There are NO live channels as M768 claims. They are widgets that just connect you to the television station like the $1.99 app that has many more channels! When I complained, I never received a straight answer regarding live TV. Although I received a full refund after a lengthy email marathon and proof of purchase, my complaint was never allowed on their comments section. Only a couple of comments that praised the app to no end were displayed! I tried to get this company's phone number and address from "Research in Motion", but RIM claimed that they did not have access to that information. I can not believe that RIM would allow this kind of scam to be on their system to take advantage of customers. RIM has enough problems! I complained by email to M768.com and here is what they said: ---------- Forwarded message ----------From: "M Supp" Date: Jan 8, 2013 9:46 AMSubject: Re: [Website feedback] Comments not placedTo: Hello If you are getting a refund you are no longer qualified to leave reviews. The right to leave reviews are reserved for paying customers only. Please feel free to pursue your petty vendetta elsewhere. Why are my comments not on the BlackBerry PlayBook for the TV for Tablet HDand for the TV for Tablet HD Premium apps? Are you trying to mislead the public by posting only positive comments? Iwill place you on Ripoff Report and the comments will be read!!! As you can see, this company wants to scam the public, and they demean the customer's complaints as "petty vendetta". REALLY!!! I don 't think so. Also, I emailed this company to get their phone number and address. All I got was a response was: From: Date: Jan 17, 2013 12:05 PMSubject: [Website feedback] Contact infoTo: Thank you, we will get back to you shortly As you can see, I received no response . This company is scamming the customers for overpriced apps that are not what this company pretends to sell, and they try and demean the customers complaints and preventing any negative comments in an attempt to pull a fast one on customers who think that they are purchasing live TV. Don't be fooled. If you see their apps, bypass them. If you purchased any, demand a refund! If M768.com will screen out your negative comments, place them on the internet so that the public can be forewarned. There are other apps from M768.com as well. Steer clear!!!!! M768.com thinks that they can hide on the Internet by not having telephone or an address accessible to the public, customers, or former customers. WRONG!!!!! That tells you about the lack of integrity of this company. Sent from my BlackBerry® PlayBookв„ў www.blackberry.com |
