| Lori Hall, someone I have mentored in the dog show community has completely took me for $560. She just sent me an email and told me she was not paying me because I've called the breeder of the dog in question and caused her too much "drama". I'd should get an attorney and sue her, but she has nothing to get...just had a vehicle repo'd and writes so many bad checks she can't even a checking acct. She owed me for a bitch she got on 3/10/10 for $500, never paid for the girl. Then months later she wanted me to go in with her and buy a Standard black/tan bitch to co-own with her. She would keep and show her and I said to apply the $500 she owed me towards half of the bitch, which I figured was more than what she had given me. She told me she talked to the breeder and said it was ok. I looked up the last show she showed her at and my name was NOT listed as co-owner...I immediately emailed then called the breeder. She told me she had never heard my name nor had any conversation with Lorie about me co-owning the bitch. I told her to call a very reputable 'Dachshund showbreeder" and ask of my credibiltiy and Lorie said the original breeder was told he did not give me a good reference. I called him and he said she was a liar, he gave me a great reference. I gave Lori a job at my store a while back, let her stay at my home of which she paid me $25/wk, brought all of her dogs of which the Lab dug a huge hole in my ard in front of my gate plus ripped my electric fence down...she never offered to fix it or pay for it. I warned her is never worked out to hire a friend but she wanted to try and let her much to my dismay. She was very nasty to live with, leaving dirty dishes and piles of poop on the bedroom floor. The day she moved out she left runny poop running down my sewing machine table and across the floor. The smell would knock you down so she knew what she did. I also was short in the cash drawer on her shifts and sales dramatically dropped, so she a thief as well as a liar.When her vehicle broke down here, her husband would not give her the $500 to fix it (red flag should have gone up then), so I did. When her car payment was past due, he wouldn't help her either, I loaned her that too $260. It took her weeks to pay the $500 and the last day she worked was payday and she said she'd leave the balance owed me in the drawer, she left $200. So screwed out of the remaining balance of $60, another lie. That's the last time I help anyone financially. Now I understand why no one trust these back yard breeders...it's people like this that ruins it for everyone else. Now she's decided to get out of dachshunds and do afghans. She never has bred a bred-by Champion, nor has she ever finished a dog without the use of a handler. Now she's sold her best dog back to the original breeer which co-owned him (CH Tudorglen's Yes We Can) He was a very nice dog, great personality, what a shame, but at least he'll be cared for better than she cares or her dogs. Wonder how long she'll keep the afghans before getting "rid" of them, as she puts it. I hope Karma bites her in the butt.Sorry for rambling, just would like someone to know my side of the story. I'm not the bad guy, I owe no one one penny and have not screwed anyone out of nothing. The only thing I am guilty of is being too trusting of people and trying to help them. I am a person of my word just like I was raised. Thank you Dad for instilling me with that quality.I'm so sick of show people I've about given up. I think I'll find good homes for most of my dachshunds and start a rescue program. At least I know the dogs will appreciate me, cause humans sure don't. Please warn anyone wanting to sell her anything or do any business with her let alone co-own a dog. She is not a person of her word. Save a dog. Save someone grief. My father always said " a person is as good as their word", so that pretty much tells the rest of the story and about how good a person this woman is. |

| This doesn't even justify a comment. I have many breeders I have purchased dogs from. What she doesn't mention is a replacement dog. I will not get into the details as there are two sides to every story. |
