LOGISTICARE Unprofessional and Dishonest Edison, New Jersey |
29th of Sep, 2011 by User939662 |
On September 26, 2011, I sent the below enclosed e-mail to Steven Tunney (NJ State) and Linda Day (Logisticare). Both parties “read†my e-mail; however, as of this morning, I have not received a response from either. As business professionals, someone should have addressed my concerns and contacted me by now. To date, I’ve already received responses from John Runyan and Governor Chris Christie’s office. I had the opportunity to speak with Linda Day, and another woman by the name of Lori via “speaker phone†on the morning of September 26, 2011. It is my understanding that Lori is new to Logisticare (March 2011) and comes to Logisticare through the Friendly’s ice cream franchise. It is also my understanding that management staff within Logisticare must have a degree. Friendly’s has a logistics department? From the way Logisticare is running their business in the state of New Jersey, I see it highly unlikely that the majority of their employees hold a high school diploma. My concern is how Logisticare is taking clients away from providers and assigning them to less seasoned companies, which causes great concern to many of the Medicaid clients. I am certain that Logisticare is not aware, nor do they care, that many clients are mentally challenged and find “change†to be quite difficult. My brother has been using Elite Transportation since November 2006. He has had no issues or complaints until Logisticare started their mess in New Jersey. I believe this is a political move and the needs of transportation clients will continue to be pushed aside in order for Logisticare and “unknown†persons to make money off the backs of legitimate business owners. If the state “saves money†by making cuts to this department, other areas are adversely affected, which in turn, causes a spike in unemployment. It seems as though “someone†is being paid a lot of money to turn their head so Logisticare can destroy the medical transportation business in New Jersey. I understand that “business is business†but who cleans up the mess when Logisticare packs their bags and heads to another state?? Has Logisticare come to New Jersey as a political move? The State needs to get to the bottom of Logisticare’s unscrupulous and unethical business practices. A majority of the transportation companies in New Jersey will go out of business if Logisticare continues to manage this department for the state. In turn, unemployment claims will increase!! How does New Jersey get ahead? Something is dreadfully wrong with the changes Logisticare made earlier in the year, and I am quite troubled that Linda Day's office decided to block my e-mail address. I find her actions to be very unprofessional and it shows that she is unwilling to address concerns I presented to her. This just shows me that Logisticare is not working to the best of their ability to provide excellent service to the medical transportation clients or providers in the state of New Jersey. Linda Day, single handedly, decided that my voice will not be heard by Logisticare – I have decided that she is wrong!!! |
