FRANK JACKSON SANDY SPRINGS FORD SANDY SPRINGS FORD SCREWED UP TITLE PAPER WORK FOR 3 MONTHS AND LIED TO ME WHEN I PURCHASED THE TRUCK VERY INCOMPITEN |

I purchased a 2011 F150 and paid cash for it back in early February and today is April 25th and I still do not have this vehicle registered or titled in my name do to the lies and incompetence of the employees at Frank Jackson Sandy Springs Ford. When I call to buy the vehicle I specifically asked the incompetent sales guy if they would take a company check and he happily told me no problem so I brought a company check to pay for the vehicle when I got there the Sales Manager told me they could not take the check and I had to pay cash or wire transfer so I had to inconvenience my wife to go to the bank to transfer 47k to these people before they would let the truck go. Now I drove for 6 hrs to get to this place to buy the truck then ended up screwing around there at the dealership for an additional 4 hrs evidently their incompetent employees has no regard for anyone elses time but their own. I also specifically asked if I could get the certificate of origin once I purchased the vehicle as I wanted to go title and register it the next day and was told sure no problem. When I got to the finance guy he told me that the bank would send it to my address in Indiana which is where I had my license at the time and I told him that I live in NC now and would need it sent there to my home address so I could get it titled and registered in NC. Needless to say they ended up sending the paperwork to the Indiana BMV. After waiting for 2 weeks I called the dealer and they told me where they had sent it I was very disgusted at this point but Cynthia their title clerk told me she had no idea it was supposed to go to NC even though I left a note in their file with my NC address and wrote on it send title to this address not Indiana. Cynthia told me golly gee I will have to request the paperwork back and change the info and send it out to NC and that could take a couple weeks. I called back to the dealer 1 week later and spoke with Cynthia again and she told me she was unable to get in touch with the Indiana BMV after trying several times so I hung up with her and called Indiana BMV and got through on the first try no problem and got the paperwork sent back to the dealer all that took me 10 minutes and is something they claimed they could not get done after a week of trying. Finally the paperwork made it back to the dealer and they sent it to the NC DMV and the morning I was driving to the NC DMV to get my title and registration the dealer calls me and told me the paperwork was back there because they forgot to get a copy of my NC drivers license and send it with the paperwork. As you can see this dealership needs to re train all of their employees as they are ALL incompetent from top to bottom and throughout all that not a single apology from anyone they made it seem like my fault the whole time. A word for Frank Jackson you may want to get off the golf course and pay attention to your business because we all have choices where we will buy our next vehicle and I assure you my next one will not be bought from your dealership. |

It is our policy to accept company checks with an approved credit score. Because the customer did not meet our requirements we were unable to accept a company check as payment. In compliance with law we require proof of identification and proof of residency for title and tag registration. We are located in Georgia and as such cannot title a car in North Carolina without proper documentation. The customer provided an Indiana driver’s license and Indiana home address, so the car was registered in Indiana. We apologize for any inconvenience this caused. |
