| Logisticare, Corporate Communism, Logistisism I , owner and operator of an AMAV & WMAV non emergency provider, recall my childhood in my parents native country, from which we all had to depart more than 42 years ago seeking freedom and democratic ideals as lovers of justice. We arrived in the U.S.A. in 1969, the greatest and fairest nation on the face of this hemisphere. We had to unfortunately abandon what was left of my parent’s life’s worth of work. I feel that the state of New Jersey in the same form has hastily without sufficient warning, and I suppose without first checking their track record and performance imposed upon us providers a Broker-System we providers had never heard of, in the same philosophy of similarities Communism, fascism, Nazism; it was to me the way it was imposed and the way we received the contract without prior warning, without a call from anyone in the state. When Logisticare,llc, came into the arena 3 years ago, it was sudden and crazy. I eventually was able to speak to a supervisor at the Edison Office, he promised me that they were just going to do the job of regulating the industry. But my main concern during this call was to ask him about Logisticare’s form of dispatching, what was going on with their appointment reservers and dispatchers not respectint our clients desire to request and ask for us as their transporter. Our clientele is the base of the business for each provider, the reason for my call then was because I was getting a lot of complaints from my clients that they had requested us very specifically and they were sending someone else for the transport. This supervisor told me that he was going to look into it and thus give me a call, which never materialized, and the problem persists and is now worse than ever, unfortunately our clientele not, as “Logisterism Carism†puts it “Logisticare Clients†as a provider for the state I agree to all the complaints that have been written on this website, the report to me describes in formidable detail all of the iniquities that we have been sustaining during the past 3 years. Another proposition was offered to us providers without choice to accept a further cut of 10% across the board for all levels of service, that would be in my opinion detrimental and disastrous in an industry that is already bleeding through an aorta, we are hurting bad. Again a repetition of what we had 3 years ago to sign the Logisticare contract, YOU SIGN-YOURE-IN, YOU DON’T SIGN-YOURE OUT, and you would loose your business that took a lot of work and time to build, quite similar to “ISMS†of Europe and Latin America, only this is enforced y bullying with words and a forced contract. I can prove that I can honestly say that my business is down 30% TO 40% of what I used to do when I dealt directly with Unisys . In Closing, Logisticare uses unfair practices and is full of enigmas, I personally feel they have some pet companies they are shifting the clientele from some companies to others, that is the word on the street from some providers, unfairness all the way, taking what was once mine and giving it to whom they deem. |

I am a former Logisticare employee who resigned due to underhanded practices. I could no longer work for such dishonest people. I know for a fact that their former operations manager owned and operated at least 5 companies while employed by them once this was uncovered by providers and brought to the attention of the corporate office they allowed him to resign without any legal actions being taken. To this day their are still three of his companies working for logisticare transporting medicaid clients in personal vehicles that have not been approved by the state nor inspected by logisticare's so called field inspectors'. I also know for a fact logisticares' provado billing system is setup to skip claims so providers' will not be paid what they have worked for and are rightly owed. I also know for a fact that a few providers' have called logisticare on their billing system and have threatened to bring their findings to the state and have been allowed to bill on another system so that they will be kept quite.
Logisticare doesn't give a dam about the medicaid clients they are allowing them to be transported like cattle in unsafe, uninspected vehicles. As they call them the loser cost providers' are transporting clients in cargo vans' making clients' sit in lawn chairs this is such a shame no one seems to care about these poor people. Is this because most medicaid members' are low income or some may have no income at all this is not the american way'
Doctors' are lossing money due to their offices' being empty due to logisticare just canceling several doctors' appoinments not because they don't have providers' to transport the clients, they just don't want to give them to the providers' that wont take the lower rates.
Does someone have to die before logisticare is stopped?

I have been looking for work ever since my Transportation employer went out of business because of the restrictions put in place by Logisticare. I tried ot get a job with another transport company recently and I was horrified. I worked for fifteen years driving for that company and only accumulated $2 worth of raises in all that time because of the small amount of money afforded contractors. This other company said they would hire me but they would only give me their starting pay. I said considering today's economy and the fact I cant find another job I can actually get to I would take it. Then the hoops! For a lousy 8.50 an hour they do a background, FBI, sex crime, Drivers abstract and Drug screen. Really? For 8.50 an hour I have to go be treated like a criminal and piss in a jar? Really? SO my 15 yrs of hard and very stressful labor amounts to absolutely nothing? That, my friends, is not the american dream. It is in fact the american scam on display for you all to see. There is no american dream, thanks to the huge number of foreigners and immigrants from 3rd world countries we are now a 3rd world country. Not where the 1% live mind you, but the rest of us may as well be living in Cuba.
Why am I so offended you ask? I enjoy the idea of being a free human being, but around every corner is the proof that I am not free at all. All I wanted was a job, not a boatload of money, just a job, but as I havent yet got a call back after two weeks I see that I am not even going to get that. when I am forced into desperate measures as so many americans have already, remember me as the nice guy next door you never thought would hurt anybody. Remeber me as the blue collar guy who wanted nothing more than a simple life. A life denied me by rich politicians who have no clue what the real world is like out here, who have no idea about day to day difficulties that can bring you to tears or desperation. One day this country of clones and morons will wise up and recognize that no national leader should have previously been a rich guy, nor should any politicians be allowed who are rich fat bastards with personal agendas. I mean lets face it, Ritchie gave Logisticare the go ahead immediately after they placed several million in his pocket. Not the taxpayers pocket, mind you, but his personal already rich fat guy pocket. Ah well, enough, I could go on all damn day like this and whats the point? Rich fat bastards are busy looking at porn and drinking expensive wine to care. |

| As a former employee, I agree with things mentioned above. There are shady business practices going on within the company and it starts at the corporate headquarters. Business and special rates and privileges are given to their family and friends, while they pay their staff (not part of the pack) lower wages, providers outside of the clique lower rates (even minority providers in some markets are paid less than non-minority), under the table deals, etc. It usually requires someone to get injured seriously before they take action and then they will try to find a scapegoat and act as if they don't tolerate. The truth is, they lack controls and oversight to enforce it. They are incapable of doing so. If you recognize it and challenge it, your time at the company will come to an end. |
