Warning everyone!!!!! I signed up with an alternative phone service called angles communications after getting tired of all the ripoff tactics of AT&T. It has been a complete night mare ever since. We signed up or thought we did back in March but apparently the man who filled out the report and took all of my information never sent in the order so that had to be redone. We were promised a free cell phone with 250 free min. each month, local and unlimited long distance. Well we were lied to about the cell phone and the free minutes and then we were told that they didn't offer the cell phone in our area. Then I spoke with someone named Terry and she said we could get the cell phone. Three min. later she called and said we weren't getting the cell phone. Our long distance goes out and stays out for days and they say it is because it expires and yet I am suppose to have a package and I am paying the bill on time.We also can't talk over ten minutes or the phone cuts off. We tried to get some help from our Consumer Services Commission but it seems the phone company is telling them what to do instead of the other way around. So we sent a letter to the FCC. Hope that helps. We finally got our long distance back on but the company still is using false advertisement tactics and misleading gimmicks to hook people. Needless to say no one has made them honor their promise of a free cell phone. The BBB gave them an F in ratings and there have been hundreds and hundreds of complaints against them and still they are allowed to continue. Here are some of their names they are using: Angles Communication Solutions Global Communications Dial Tone and More, Inc. BLC Management, LLC Ren-Tel/DTM SC TXLink USA Free Phone The BBB has received a pattern of complaints in which consumers state that their phone service and/or internet service was switched to Angles Communication/BLC Management without their knowledge or permission. In most cases this caused a delay in getting service restored. The websites are: www.angles.com www.anglescs.com www.freefirstmonth.com www.usafreephone.com www.telephonehelp.net BBB processed a total of 223 complaints about Angles Communication Solutions in the last 36 months, our standard reporting period. Of the total of 223 complaints closed in 36 months, 64 were closed in the last year. Takes them a while doesn't it. They do seem a bit slow. So, now we sit and wait to see if they are going to try and rip us off some more. Please, be careful about them. They will use whatever tactic they can to talk you out of reporting them. |

I've been with Angles for bout 8 years now & u are right they will try too rip u off. They will not come check your inside wiring or nothing. If u call them it takes forever to get a rep, if you get one. If you pay your bill they still will disconnect you. If you aren't disconnected it takes them a month to restore your services. They always give me the run around when it comes to my bill. I've been thinking about changing my phone service. Well I hope the next person is having better luck than I am with ANGLES COMMUNICATIONS!! |
