| First of all, I would like to say that I have never completed any form of public complaint for an individual or corporation, however, The Lloyd Agency has taken it entirely too far. I am a very trustworthy, humble individual with a solid 20 year background in sales and customer service. This is why I feel it is necessary to warn ALL future and current insurance agents to stay FAR AWAY from Lloyd Agencies, Sabrina Lloyd, Mark Wyner and Karolina Debak. Don't just take my word for it, read the other reports from previous employee's before they came here to Chicago. The same type of unethical practices are happening all over again. They will lie to you from the very beginning and hold on to them until the bitter end, truely amazing. American Income Life is a superior Life Insurance Company with tremendous benefits for their clients and agents. This is why I can't understand why they would keep this agency open in Chicago. There is another very respectable office open in the Chicagoland area. It would be worth every penny you have to seek this one out instead of The Lloyd Agency. These people do not have any respect for their employees, clients or American Income Life itself. Very unethical, dishonest, and insulting to anyone simply seeking to better their own lives or careers. No need for details yet, just DON'T DO IT!!!! TRUST ME, these people will take advantage of you or your situation for their own financial gain. I don't want anything from you, just to know that you don't follow the path of near destruction like I did with Lloyd Agencies. American Income offers opportunities for you to have a very lucrative career, I understand this, just find another agency!Please spread the word. |

| I knew there was a trick to it! When Manuel contacted me, he couldn't tell me about the position! I told him that I was not interested in a sales position, and all he could say was that I would be very happy with the position??? WTH! I did NOT feel good about the call & lack of information! I refuse to go way out there, burning my gas, just to be tricked into a sales position! I'm glad I followed my first mind! By the way, I was scheduled to have been there 1/2 hour ago...I'm still at home, on my laptop, looking for a job! Thanks for sharing! |

| If you get a bad feeling about something stick with that gut feeling. This place will give you that feeling from the get go. There were people walking out of the conference room before they went in for their interview which is what I also should have done! Waste of time! They don't do an interview they themselves try and sell you in the position by talking about how much money you can make and this and that! Don't fall for it! Glad I didn't go to work there! |

| i am sorry for putting this message here like this. I am just here to share my experience and to help who might want this kind of help. I have been scammed by fake casters that promised me results and get my money trying all my means to save my marriage. i was so despirate to keep my family as my husband wants a divorce. i decided to go spiritual as all i tried was not working. i seek spiritual helps to get things right but all i talked with never did anything for me. I was taken advantage of and i lost all my saving on that. i talked talked to a friend that was able to make me meet the help i searched for. when he said he will help, i never believed but im more than greatful now for giving him my last shot. You can get this great one on [email protected] never let it go too. its a good trial if you want to use him and he is the best to work with. my vote all to him. |

| My Name is Flora..I never believed in Love Spells or Magics until I met this special spell caster when i contact this man called [email protected] Execute some business..He is really powerful..My wife divorce me with no reason for almost 4 years and i tried all i could to have her back cos i really love her so much but all my effort did not work out.. we met at our early age at the college and we both have feelings for each other and we got married happily for 5 years with no kid and she woke up one morning and she told me she’s going on a divorce..i thought it was a joke and when she came back from work she tender to me a divorce letter and she packed all her loads from my house..i ran mad and i tried all i could to have her back but all did not work out..i was lonely for almost 4 years…So when i told the spell caster what happened he said he will help me and he asked for her full name and her picture..i gave him that..At first i was skeptical but i gave it a try cos have tried so many spell casters and there is no solution…so when he finished with the readings, he got back to me that she’s with a man and that man is the reason why she left me…The spell caster said he will help me with a spell that will surely bring her back.but i never believe all this…he told me i will see a positive result within 3 days..3 days later, she called me herself and came to me apologizing and she told me she will come back to me..I cant believe this, it was like a dream cos i never believe this will work out after trying many spell casters and there is no solution..The spell caster is so powerful and after that he helped me with a pregnancy spell and my wife got pregnant a month later..we are now happy been together again and with lovely kid..This spell caster has really changed my life and i will forever thankful to him..he has helped many friends too with similar problem too and they are happy and thankful to him..This man is indeed the most powerful spell caster have ever experienced in life..Am Posting this to the Forum in case there is anyone who has similar problem and still looking for a way out..you can reach him here:[email protected] |

These guys are major liars, they'll find your resume from job boards and call you.They'll always be in a hurry to end the call so that you don't ask them many questions.
Lot of their agents seem to be calling recently, this is what all of them will say " We found your resume online and was really impressed, we'd like you to come for an interview tomorrow ." If you try to find out about job description here is there standard reply " will be discussed at the venue" .
I asked him to send me an email with job description and his reply " We are having issues with outlook".

Merc is absolutely correct. I too worked for Lloyd Agencies. At the time I was there Karolina was new. The motivational presentations and speeches are astounding and make you feel that you can do anything and make anything, however, it takes money to make money. I was totally dedicated to doing well with the company. I went out and spent about $200 in office supplies, bought a new laptop Because it was needed for the application and presentation, paid the initial $50 for the temporary license, and spent a lot I'm had to and from. It only took me about a month to start getting paid from sales because you can start selling soon as you get your agent number. Next thing you know, you may hit a dry spell and then you are without pay again. No matter how many people you see, no sales mean no income. Reasonable? Not really if you have no other income. Next problem will be taking the exam for your perminent insurance license. You have to pay for the rest then pay for the license itself. As far as these other positions, sometimes full of it because they are constantly hiring agents only. Administrative my tail. Maybe because the girl at the front was pregnant and they needed a temporary full in until she returned.
Marge02 is full of it and probably pay off the company to discredit anyone negatively speaking of the agency, but I worked for the company and know the truth. Total misrepresentation on so many levels. But remember itis sales, which almost means, by any means necessary. You will be deceived, lead astray, and left to clean up others messes. The managers profit from your work, Sabrina profits from everyone. She is a very professional motivated and inspirational woman, but money can do that to you when you want more. So, if you don't have money to get through the dry spell in the beginning, don't waste your time. If you don't have the kknowledge to explain why the people you have sold to have no received their policy information and packets, then don't get involved because your closest friends and relatives may blame your for getting them to switch to AIL. If you have a problem with people profiting off of your hard work, then walk away now because that's always going to happen in life unless you start your own business. There are lies yes, but can you prove it. More, because they'll be another lie to cover that one. |

Wow guys, the same thing happened to me!!
I got a call from Sherry about a union benefits provider position and was asked to drive to "1300 Remington road, Schaumburg Illinois 60173" for an interview. I was told to bring 2 resumes a pen and note pad.
The first red flag was, "why bring 2 of my resumes, are they too cheap to print them out.
Second red flag was, "why bring a note pad?"
Then I came onto this website and read several comments that mentioned tons of information that matched what I had just heard over the phone.
I called back to dell Sherry that I wanted to cancel my appointment, she asked me if I wanted to reschedule and I said "NO, just to Cancel" in a firm manner. She was very nice throughout the entire time, but I found it strange that she didn't ask me why I didn't want to reschedule. It's almost as if they already expect people will call and cancel.
This is definitely a Scam. |

Thought I'd add my experience. I recently moved to Illinois and was contacted by someone who was interested in my resume. He left a message stating he was from the Learning Company, swear to god, I called back and left a message in turn. A few days later I heard back once again and was scheduled to come in at 11:45, told to come early and be business professional... No sh*t!!! I asked what position it was he was calling on, was told similarly, they're hiring for sales, admin and management and more info will be provided...
Okay, I thought, the kid was nervous and quick on the phone, no worries I'll keep an open mind.
I came to the same 30 minute presentation, heard the same spiel about the income, training, potential... I had a woman next to me, named Jacqueline who is a accountant previously. We exchanged pleasantries and agreed, this isn't right however again, I'd like to take an alternate approach as I've put potential hires through some trials when I had been carrying out interviews in previous career positions.. However, not like this.
After the 30 minute deal we were dismissed, the questions on the paper were aimed at sales mined folks.. Ie, what do you see yourself making in 1, 5, 10 years time. What are the goals and ideals of leader, How do you describe yourself.. Not really much else, they then collected a copy of your resume and went from there. I as frustrated at the opportunity cost and dishonesty, I drove over 1/2 hour and obviously dressed professionally.
Earlier this afternoon my wife and i went to the health club during which time I had a call from Dwayne Shell, I phoned back and setup an appointment/interview for friday however upon stumbling on these postings and educating myself further on the company I don't see going thru with it. I'm very disenchanted as my experience mimics many, while I don't generally go with the lemmings I think this one set my fight or flight to flight more than fight.. Not the right verbiage but you get it.
When I phoned to Dwayne he picked up although we lost one another, it wasn't a particularly good conversation as he mustv'e been in a movie theater or loud auditorium, to his credit he did ring me back after the call disconnected meaning he was on a cell. Upon disconnecting I phoned him back and was brought to a vanilla voicemail stating his message bank was full and cannot take more messages. When we spoke I let him no I have no interest in sales, he stated I'd be vying for management and I could "interview, " him as he interviewed me when we met at that same Remington address in Schaumburg. Again, that is fair however he closed with reminding me that if I accepted a position offered at time of the interview I would have to commit and purchase the license, wtf? Do I need a license to manage? I questioned it, he pretty much played hurried and had to leave... Spider sense tingled again, too many times!
The original call I recieved was from Tom K at 312-523-5627, since he got the name of his company wrong the first round I'll post his work number for reference to others coming across these postings and taking the time to sift thru it.

Thank you to all who have written the previous posts. Because of my background in research I elected to do such when I was called about a job. I found this site & was well prepared when I finally spoke to the person in regards to the multiple positions they were seeking to fill. He was obviously reading from a script & most of his reply's were, " That is something you will have to discuss with the Hiring Manager." The Hiring Manager being Tom, Tim was the person who called me. (Out of my professional & personal respect I will not provide last names.) I confirmed they were affiliated with "American Income Life Insurance" & he volunteered they were located in Schaumburg. I politely stated that I appreciated his offer & time but had done some research & this doesn't seem like an opportunity I would be interested in. Therefore nobody's time was wasted & I am able to spend all the time I might have invested in this "Potential Position" being more pro-active with my search for employment.
My advice to all others in the search for employment, " Take an extra hour at most to do some research on the company & contact people because it is multi-benificial. If it is an opportunity you might be interested in you will be prepared to ask & answer questions with intelligence & if it is not something you would be interested in you save yourself & that company Representative time each of you can invest more wisely. |
