| I have made it through the phone interview process as well and been given the link for the backoffice website. I have not done anything with it as of yet. I have several friends in the investment industry that are looking into the company for me. I do not want to leave a full time position (even if I am being severely taken advantage of by my current employer) if it is just a scam, so if once my friends get back with me I will let everyone know what I end up doing. |

I also received the initial contact via career builder. I have also gone thru the entire hiring process up to receiving the link for the back office application. I have not yet clicked on the link to set everything up and complete the hiring process. I have several friends in the investment industry and have asked a couple of them to check up on this for me. I am waiting to hear back from one last contact before I make my decision.
Here are a few points that I can make, just on the research I have done...
1. They have not to this point asked for anything more personal than someone can find on-line just by googling your name.
2. There are no up-front charges involved in the job ( a sure sign of a scam). And majority of the paperwork specifically states that at no time will personal funds be required to perform job tasks.
3. Career Builder does checks on every job posted on their site and the companies that use their site to look for possible employment candidates. I have been in contact with this company via Career Builder serveral times over the past week and have still not gotten a notice from Career Builder stating to discontinue communications.
4. One of my friends had heard of Life Ocean and said that they are a very good company.
From what I have found, I do not see this to be a scam... but it never hurts to be a little cautious. Several of the benefits and the pay make the position seem a little too good to be true but several of the reputable investment firms are still very profitable and can afford to take care of their employees, even though much of the economy is in shambles. |

| My issue is that why???? Why arent they asking for social security numbers??? When you start any other type of employment that is how you file taxes. So it would seem awful fishy that this over seas company doesn't need info that identify s who you are. I have not gone to the "back office", and not sure that I will. I am not desperate for a job so this will not stress me out at all. Be careful. |

To all who have researched this posting on Career Builder... I contacted Career Builder directly to have them research the posting... IT IS NOT A VALID POSTING!!!

| I to have gone through with the process and so far I am still not sure. I did the phone interview and now I am on the back office link. They actively change your status on the page once you complete different task they ask of you. They have a message center where you can talk to your manager and every time I wrote something she responded. I am currently waiting on my training materials, this is where I get skeptical because my manager said I am working so I am getting paid but she has not given me anything to do yet. I too am supposed to get a check in two weeks so if and when I first get me training materials than a check I will let you guys know. |

So a week has passed and I have not heard anything back from the lady I spoke with nor have I heard from a employee of the company currently doing this job so I can learn something more about the company. I am waiting for a report from Casefy to see what he comes up with.

I forwarded the email and the email header to Career Builder Trusted Site and Security department - the email I got from Daniel Morton with Life Ocean Limited had "Career Builder: Customer Service Position (application process)" as the subject. This is what they replied:

The only information I could find about them (other than the site they provided) was a "press release" dated for September 24 - just two days before the position became available.

| I also got the same email supposedly from Career Builder, which Life Ocean is not part of (which I did not find out until after I was"hired"), I was able to log in the back office. When I brought up the issue with the misrepresentation at the beginning as LOL being a validated company through CB, I was emailed that it was due to their outsourcing. My comment was that for an investment firm, up front and honest information is important. I said I could meet with someone in the Baltimore office to discuss; which would not work with them. I looked up the addresses for all of the offices (international and US including the home office in Cyprus) on google maps... they are all invalid and not found. The international offices are no where to be found when you just look them up (google or whatever you use), like any other company anywhere in the world. The whole experience is very disappointing. It sounded like a great experience. I really wanted to believe they were legit... and Casefy - I received that information also, but, anyone can register a name of a company, that does not mean much and anyone can have information that they control on their own website. |

So, as many of you asked me for the info about the company, what kind of info do you want from me??? i've been working for them for 8 months now and there haven't been a slight problem. Many of you have said right things here - nobody's go ask u for you ssn or smt like that. i've uploaded my direct deposit form, they used my account for payroll and stuff like this, and after a month (since April 8, if i'm not mistaken) i've been given an access to their corporate account and no suspicious things since then! btw, i've received my other check last Friday for $1, 927. not bad for 2 week, ha? if u want some info specify and i may try to provide you with it. |

| Hey, guys. Found this site a couple of weeks ago when looking for this Life Ocean on the web. However, I took a chance and got hired. I can't say everything's that perfect as they want it to be, but I got my first direct deposit with my salary (which is great, by the way) and had some new experience as a customer service employee. So, I guess it's up to you whether to work there or not, but I can say I don't regret ignoring my doubts. And how're your impressions, Casefy? Where are u from? Maybe we can get in touch? |

Well let me tell you guy's I was scammed! I was stupid enough to fall for them. now my accounts are frozen and i'm under investigation for fraud! ($13, 000) I had my mom under my account and now she's affected! this is what they make you do: Take money out of your account that there "clients" wire to you; and you send them to other "potential Clients" through Money Gram or Western Union. IF YOURE WORKING FOR THEM! STOP! PRINT EVERYTHING YOU HAVE ON THEM.. LIKE FROM THERE BACK OFFICE TASK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM...AND I MEAN EVERYTHING YOU GUYS. AND FILE A POLICE REPORT. THE MONEY IS GOOD YES! BUT NOW MY LIFE IS RUINED!PLEASE PLEASE!!! STOP WORKING FOR THEM SENDING MONEY TO THE UKRAINE SHOULD OF OPEND MY EYES! I AND I TRYED CALLING THIS # 14435520773 AND I WAS BLOCKED FROM IT. i'm telling you guys from the bottom of my heart stop! close your accounts and give them the finger!
