Lexicon Senior Healthcare
Lexicon Senior Healthcare Scam
12th of Mar, 2011 by User319224
Beware. Lexicon sells insurance and are recruiting agents. The catch is that they expect you to fly to Dallas, stay in a hotel for 3 or 4 nights, meals etc. for training classes at your expense!! And then lay out $999 for "set-up fees". This is for a 1099 commission job!! Do not even waste your time applying.

WOW - I'd be leary of rip off report too. Any company that stands behind Lexicon needs to actually investigate the company or is in bed with them!! Don't believe me? Then follow the links below:

Here is "Ryan" from the webinar - his real name is Chris Westfall. If you don't think you are being sold - think again. Check out the links above where he advertises his services. Any company that sets up informational meetings and interviews where you can't ask any questions is very suspicious. If it was the real deal they would have a LIVE video confrence with a top sales manager to talk about the position and then give you a chance to ask questions. I asked the recruiter a few questions which she ignored & now I know why. I can see paying to get a license, but not a bunch of $$$$ up front to a company to employ you. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! There are plenty of companies that take people without sales experience & train them properly - all without having to pay ANY money upfront.

Besides, I'm always leary when a company has the "con" in their name - kinda like Madoff...

I ran across this site, and a couple others, and frankly can't believe what I am reading because my personal experience was so different. I was informed of everything. They just wanted to know I would give it a true effort. When you look at the costs they are paying for me I completely understand why. For those willing to do this, this is the best thing you will find out there - look at it for yourself, objectively, and decide for yourself, not based on partial truths and flat out falsehoods.

I made over $4000 on just one Lexicon Senior Healthcare appointment yesterday. I am making nearly $20, 000 per month. I have been here for 5 months. LSH is the real deal for the right person. Work 4-days hardcore, party hard 3 mass!

I love it here w/ Lexicon! Forget these jokers that are blasting bull crap about us being a scam. WE ROCK!!!

I totally agree with both of you. They have nothing to hide, nor have they hidden anything from me since I have been working for them. They have given me the resources necessary to build my career. I can’t fault them for that!! Most of these naysayers need to move on or get back on the train. Lexicon is here to facilitate, not scam…definitely in today’s market.

I am in agreement as well. Haven't run into anything unexpected and continuing to get better each and every day. To me, it is all about attitude. If you have the right attitude going into each and every day you can and will be successful. It is ultimately up to you. Lexicon does indeed give you the tools necessary to succeed though.

I found the below press release on Lexicon today. They ARE actually major distribution partners with Great American and AFG. And ground floor! That's it, I'm convinced b/t this and their A+ rating with the BBB that there is NO WAY these guys are a scam. Check it out for yourself... I found it on Yahoo Finance. I'm going to see if I can get an interview for a position with them, sick of waiting in doubt. Sorry for some of the posts I made last month when I thought they were not for real. My bad.

The mortgage loans suppose to be important for people, which want to start their business. By the way, that is not really hard to get a consolidation loan.

Of course they're a scam.
1. Any company that makes you pay $600 to "reserve" a territory as a 1099 employee is scamming you. What's normal is:You make the company a profit through sales and they reimburse your business expenses & training. Paying for airfare, room, meals, training in Dallas...are they completely insane???
2. If the preset appointments were so solid, why would they take 30% of your commission and hold it for deals going bad. Buyer's remorse due to high pressure sales techniques!!! The leads aren't free either...$20 fee...even for no shows!

Lexicon has a very clever marketing department that is able to use the internet to trick a lot of inexperienced and aspiring sales people. My personal belief is that nearly every single positive comment posted on the internet is generated directly from their corporate marketing group.

Listen, this whole deal is not rocket science. You are starting your own business using Lexicon as a marketing backbone and for that support you initially pay a fee and then Lexicon retains a portion from your sales to cover ongoing expenses and yes, make a profit. It is not however a, "scam". It is simply a contractual relationship in which a company provides you, the salesperson, a service in exchange for payment (some covered by an initial nominal fee and the rest in shared profits from sales). If you, as a salesperson, feel like you can make yourself enough appointments on your own, using your own money and time and end up selling enough to make yourself the living you are trying to make then do that. If you feel like you would like a platform to start from in order to generate the amount of contacts to build your book of business then a company like Lexicon makes a lot of sense. It is a trade off-you trade your money for not having to spend your time finding people to sell to. With regard to retaining a percentage of commissions to cover someone for cancellations, it makes all the sense in the world considering the commission you are paid is an advance commission based on that policy remaining active for a certain length of time. Again, not rocket science...

You are partially right. This isn't Rocket Science. However, you are trying to defend one of the worst programs I have ever seen. I don't know about your business background or experience, but I will emphatically state that this is NOT "normal" practice for compensating 1099 employees in the insurance industry.

Please post the "simple contractual agreement" and all "nominal" fees. We'll let the masses decide on whether this is a scam or not.
