| This report might not be different from others you have read but I still want to report these people and hopefully there will be enough of us to speak up and put this scums out of business and be prosecuted. We are also a victim of Krystal Cancun sales representatives broken promises and lies. It all started when we attended their presentation, we are not really thinking of buying anything especially if this is a timeshare presentation, but the sales rep said that this is different than timeshare and this is something that we could make some money out of our vacation membership. They tell you that you can rent 5 weeks of your timeshare in the first 6 months. IT'S A LIE!!! They tell you that Concord (rental company) will buy those weeks. IT'S A LIE!!!!! They tell you that you will receive your cheques mailed to your house 6 months after purchasing the membership. IT'S A LIE!!!! They tell you that Lloydshare will cover the rent loss if there's ever a problem renting. IT'S A LIE!!!!! All of this sales speech and more from their sales representative Michael Alvarez are just tactics to make this vacation club sound good and make you buy it. Yes, we are one of those people that still have faith in people. We didn't think anything bad out of this to happen. We thought they are really selling us something that is a good investment. Especially they saw us with our small children there. I just couldn't understand how they have no heart and take advantage of anyone, knowing this would happen. I wish we could get out of this contract too like others have stated from this website. If anyone has had success resolving this kind of problem with Krystal Cancun please help or contact us. |

It seems like this is a very common problem in Mexico. My wife & i bought into a Royal Elite Timeshare in Playa del Carmen. We stayed in sandos caracol resort & signed contract for royal elite. we've found out in the last few months that availiablity of resorts that we require are very limited (sales person shown us extensive range of hotels). flight deals are no better than booking myself. we enquired to stay lanzarote sandos dec 2012 the ai rate is in total $1900 for the week. i feel that this is going to be costly in the long run, not the ideal deal that was sold to us. I'm in the process of calling the BBB and PROFECO and seeing what they can do. Possibly the attorney General also!! |
