After years and years of abuse by my husband I have finally been trying to talk to him about divorce. When I told him he told me he would do anything and everything to make my life hell, said he would take my children away from me because he knows they mean more to me than anything in this world. He started a fight with me one Saturday morning, tossed me around and left the house. He came back with the police and told them I started the fight and got a PFA and got me evicted from my home and not allowed to see my children. A court date was set for a week later at 1 o'clock. At 1:50 the judge called us in. She let my husband speak first and under oath sat there a lied telling her I was abusive and was a bad mother. He had absolutely no proof of this because there is none, I have been a great mother and love my children more than my own life. When it was my turn to speak, the judge barely let me speak at all, cut me off when I was talking and then said "I believe him not you" and extended the order for three years. I was made to take my belongings from my home and only allowed to see my children for 2 hours a week at Dunkin Donuts, supervised by my husband. The judge turned my life upsidedown in a half hours time let him make all the arrangements and decisions that day. She gave power to a man that is hurting his own children for his own benefit. He is a controlling, self-serving, abusive, poorest excuse for a human being and this judge took my children away from a loving, caring, attentive mother that misses them every second of every day! And they are calling me telling me that they miss me and need me and I NEED HELP getting them back. I have been calling many many agencies trying to get help and have been unable to get anyone to help me. They just keep telling me they have limited resources, cannot help me but wish me good luck. I cannot afford a lawyer so I sit powerless, lost and heartbroken. If there is just one lawyer out there with compassion and the will to do something good and right for someone, please please please please please contact me.
