| A company - Lakewood consultant (out of no where), e-mail me, saying that they saw me in the internet (job sites) and is interested to forward my resume, whic I agree; although I was concerned because this company does not have physical address in their homepage. A few weeks later Job Success contacted me saying taht they git my reference from Lakewood consultant. They invited me saying that they have a job for me. I went there, but Mr Hameed seem not to be able to say clearly what job is it. It concerned me, in addtion to the fact that he keep saying aren't you concerned that you had been looking for a job for a while. He invited me to a second interview a week later, which I came (more out of curiosity). He keep not showing the real job opportunity, talking windingly and showing a few video. He also be littled and said the way I conduct my job seach is lacking. I was quiet, polite, and patient, while deep in my heart, I said, "please, quickly tell me what do you really want to say". He keep trying to set me up with an account ect. Finally he showed me a contract that said that itwill cost nearly $5,000. He tried to push me to sign rigt away, and was clearly upset when I have questions and said that I need extra time. When I went home and checked, I found other 8 people already reported the company ;). |

I just got a call from Rachel...
Same thing, she told me that she found my resume online and that one of her clients would like to interview me tomorrow...I asked more details about her client and the position but she said: Tomorrow we will give you more details.
She spoke very fast and I thought it was weird because normally when people call regarding your resume they seem to be interested in listening you. Anyway, I said I could meet with her tomorrow but when I hung up the phone I googled the address, the phone and her name... WOW!
I thought it was weird and now I know why... Take care! |

| I have just received the same call from Susan asking that I should come along with a copy of my resume. The stupidity I seem not to understand is that these people are allowed to operate within a society such as this. I have been called 3 times now over the past 5 years from the same address with different company names ranging from RDG, Lakewood or Pathways, all from the 9th floor of 350 bay street. They do not keep enough records to recognize that I am the same person or they are so greedy they do not bother to think. My biggest concern is that they are allowed to operate with impunity and are reaping innocent job seekers off. Please people, be watchful as the government sure should be made aware of their modus operandi. |

Same story again, I got a call from Rachel too just few mins back and she was talking so fast that I didn't even get the company's name. And then she told me to write down the address and didn't send a email making me suspicious. I do a search and here I find that they are just another scam company.
Thank you all for saving me time and money. I won't be visiting them... |

| I got a call from Rachel today. She wanted me to write down the address. I asked her to send me an email but she refused. Thank you very much, I also saved the money to to to Toronto, and the most important thing, I was going to hope to find a good job but would be very disappointed at the end. It is very weird. |

Wow, it's funny, googled the address to see where it would be so I could find parking and came across it. It did sound fishy when I first called because they couldn't provide me with details and I couldn't speak to "Mr McDonald". Lo and behold, I saw your comments and saved myself the hassle and trip.

the same rachel called me last friday june 1st 2012 and was like we have your resume, i didnt get how exactly they got it. she said one of our agents or something wants to meet with you and talk about your resume. when i asked if this is for a specific position she just tried to dodge it by saying oh we just want go over your resume and blah blah. when i asked to have her e-mail address she said something like oh we dont use e-mails here or some shit. probably because they dont want any written proof left behind. thanks to this website i no longer have to waste my time going all the way there.
I spoke to my father about this and he said similar offer was made to him a few years ago and all they do is to put down your resume and try to trick you into signing a contract with them, in my father's case the contract was for $5000!!. they even tell you that you dont need to read the contract and you should just sign it lol apparently. I cant believe these guys are still around.
to whoever that is in the same situation, dont go there and dont waste your money. |

| I had the same call just now - same phone # 647 288-4636, same name Toronto Pathways, same caller name - Susan... the address... well, you guessed it. No position name, direction were given verbally (no email). The contact person this time was Mr. Nielson... Well. Thanks everybody for heads up! Hope one day they will schedule a meeting with someone wearing a long trench coat (it's a joke!) |

Thanks for sharing your experience. I had similar experience with RDG career, and actually they convinced me pay $6000.00 for a good within 3 months which was false statement.
Today also I got a call from this Pathway company. As I had experience before, I have checked in the net and got your post. |

| Same thing just happened to me. First a lady named susan called from the same number 647 288 4636 saying she is from the RG group. When I called back it was the same lady who answered and said it was from Torontopathway. when I pressed about the job she said she didn't have two much info in administration and that a Mr. Fisher a Director had reviewed my resume and felt he could be of some assistance. I am not even bothering calling them to cancel my appointment. |

Well, there are people and companies like this.
I just got a call from Susan and she told me that she is calling from Toronto pathway. She told me that they have "reviewed" my resume and are interested in meeting further. The director will like to meet me as soon as possible and it is imperative I showed up. I asked her to send me an email but she said that their computer systems are down. Instead, she said that she will leave me a voice-mail. I was curious about the number and I googled it. They do have a website:

| Just had interview with this company and was going to go back but after reading this I am not going back and I am debating weather to even call. I should have looked this up first would have saved me $20 bucks in parking and half day vacation!! So mad at myself :( |

I got a call from Rachel too, the company is called "toronto pathway" now and they even have a booth in the "Canada Expo Job" event last week in Toronto. It is unbelievable for such a scam company to be legally existed.
I am definitely not going to this 350 Bay Street 9th floor... |

| Thanks all for sharing this, I received a call from Rachle who left a VM to call them back as they came a cross my resume .. I called back and a man answered the phone saying that Rachle is at lunch even it was about 3PM.. then he said that she wanted to come and talk to thier director for the job details when I asked him to give me some info about the job.. I aksed him to send me an email with thier address and the job info and he said OK.. and still he we scheduled an appointment on the next day. I cheked my email at night and did not see any mails from them.. when I searched them first thing I came a cross was this site .. Thanks for saving me the parking fee and the dirving to downtown. |
