| A company - Lakewood consultant (out of no where), e-mail me, saying that they saw me in the internet (job sites) and is interested to forward my resume, whic I agree; although I was concerned because this company does not have physical address in their homepage. A few weeks later Job Success contacted me saying taht they git my reference from Lakewood consultant. They invited me saying that they have a job for me. I went there, but Mr Hameed seem not to be able to say clearly what job is it. It concerned me, in addtion to the fact that he keep saying aren't you concerned that you had been looking for a job for a while. He invited me to a second interview a week later, which I came (more out of curiosity). He keep not showing the real job opportunity, talking windingly and showing a few video. He also be littled and said the way I conduct my job seach is lacking. I was quiet, polite, and patient, while deep in my heart, I said, "please, quickly tell me what do you really want to say". He keep trying to set me up with an account ect. Finally he showed me a contract that said that itwill cost nearly $5,000. He tried to push me to sign rigt away, and was clearly upset when I have questions and said that I need extra time. When I went home and checked, I found other 8 people already reported the company ;). |

I want to thank you for posting your experience with this company on this site. I just got an e-mail from them today and before responding I thought I better check this company out on the Internet. Sure enough, I ran into your posting here at this site. This has saved me an e-mail, a phone call by them, and at least one annoying trip to their office. I cannot thank you enough!

i got the call from the address 350 bay street, 9th floor, phone was 647 288 4636
were saying that i need to bring my resume and that the manager will go on details when ur here. than i asked that what position is this interview for and what is the co. name and than the lady says that we will give you details when you come over here.
after reading the reviews online i canceled the interview, just a waste of time these people are doing. |

| Thank you very much for this information. I also received a call from this number 647 288 4636 and the lady named by Susan told me that their Director wants to meet with me. When I asked her to send me an email regarding all of the details with their company address, I was strange when she said cant send me an email because its not allowed here to send an email from this dept. Can we made any sort of complaint regarding these guys? |

Thank u very much for sharing this. I got a call from same # but this time the company name is Torontopathways. The address is the same. I have appointment with them tomorrow. Should i go or not? Have they changed there name and contacting ppl from a different name.

Do not go under any circumstances! I went there very recently, had a first meeting, and left feeling as though something wasn't right. The person I met with wanted to know about my finances and wanted me to come back to inform me of the services and fees. He wouldn't tell me any more information about what they do. Also, he wanted my husband to come so that we could decide together to go forward...isn't that weird?!!
The thing is, they are trying to recruit from legitimate job websites and trying to lure people to get their money. I read that it could range from $4000 to $8000 for a service that shouldn't cost anything!!
I'm grateful for the internet, otherwise I wouldn't have found out about these fraudsters! |

This is definitely a big scam. I got a call that I have a interview tomorrow for a job. I called back to find out more details. the receptionist was very vague and did not want to give any information.

These individuals need to be put out of business once and for all. Called me stating I had been referred to them by a Donna Corsana from HBC. Felt this was credible as I had talked to Donna last month about some positions at HBC.
Went down for interview and wanted to know everything about my finances. Told me my job search methods were all wrong. When I tried to explain to them that I have been working with VPI (Employment Services Ontario) they said they were a bunch of idiots.
Then came the "we would like to enter into a contract with you for $$$$$$ and we will guarantee you a job". Said I would think about it. Came home looked up on the web and found all the SCAM notices about this company.
Why doesn't Consumer and Corporate Affairs put them out of their misery! |

I also want to thank each of you for posting your comments about this company. I was contacted as well by " Dianne" to ask for Susan when I arrived. They are very sneaky when they call because they ask for you and state " I'm calling in regards to your resume we received. I didn't want to sound like an ass to ask what job it was, so instead I researched " 350 Bay" and all these complaint forums came up. THANK YOU very much everyone from saving me wasting my time driving all the way to Toronto.

These fraud I came across 1st back in 2006...and very surprised they still exist and operate under different names.
Only 2 explanations: somebody ha interest and protect them, or justice system is very stupid and cannot stop them.
Anyway it is very embarrassing that innocent people, mostly newcomers are fooled and robbed in legal way in this country. |

I got a call from Dianna from 647-288-4636 who said that my resume was fully reviewed and they wanted to discuss the opportunity with me in person. After a bit more questioning I throught that these were agencies updating their databases. Once I refused to go for the 10:00 AM appointment, she got upset and hung up the phone on me.

I just got the same call too. Here is the info provided to me:
Toronto Passway, 350 Bay St., 9th floor, 647-288-4636, Receptionist called Susan and Director is called Mr. Fisher and my resume was given to them through Business referral.
I am glad that I research on this address what company is this because "Toronto Passway" doesn't sound 'right' to me. Funny thing is when I search online with address “350 Bay street 9th floor”, my first glance from google search result was words like ‘Scam’, ‘rip-off report’, ‘Scammers’, ‘complaints’…
Then I come to this forum... now I need to call them back to cancel the appointment. Otherwise this would wasted my time and gas (now that gas is so expansive...)

The victim list just never ends! I, like all the rest of you, received the same sales pitch from this company. The Red Flag went of when this woman gave me " a cell number" as their apparent office number. No legitimate professional recruitment firm uses cell numbers as a mains business line. We coordinated an appointment, but after asking this woman what position it was that I had applied to ( way too many resumes being sent out to remember each and every one that I sent to) she was abrupt and said that I should know what I applied for. After this Google search of their phone number, I ended up here!. I cancelled the appointment and they were rude and totally unprofessional.
Of further interest to you all is yet ANOTHER company who has the same unethical business practices; Toronto Professionals. Same b.s., so heed the warning to this company as well.
It's frustrating enough looking for a career position, let alone having to deal with these people. Thank god for Google!
It's a sad world if I have to be suspicious of everyone and spend valuable time checking out their legitimacy. |

Even I confirmed by calling at the no 6472884636 that they have some cost associated with all these I guess 5k... | I received the call today that was listed as TORONTO PATHWAYS. A huge thank you for this scammer report and to everyone that has contributed. I am more or less concerned now about identify theft. They do have my address and phone number (no SIN listed thank god). But is there some way to go to the authorities about this? Obviously, our resumes and information has leaked into the wrong hands as whats to stop them from pursuing with out personal information?????????? |

Based on what I have read, I am cancelling my appointment with them too. I was to be there on 1st November 2011.
I do not wish to spend three hours of my life and bus fare to be scalped by some agency which refused to tell me what job I was being considered for. The lady Susan called me on 647 288 4636 and asked me to see her or Diana on the 9 th floor of 350 Bay Street, Toronto. The phone number given was 647 288 4636. I was to meet a Director named Mr Fisher.

Got a called from a lady under Toronto Pathway on my caller ID. She was speaking way too fast and wanted me for an interview and to ask for Susan and gave me the phone number: 647 288 4636. I googled it up because just a few days ago, I was called for an interview with Vector Marketing, a multi level marketing company and is dubbed as scam and I don't want to repeat the same mistake.
After reading all these, I called them up and the same lady who called me and apparently remembers my name picked up. When I told her I wanted to cancel tomorrow's interview, she asked why and when I told her I have other things to do, she said okay and hung up just like that.
