JIM O'GRADY FOR JUDGE- VOTE NO VOTE NO columbus, Ohio
28th of Sep, 2011 by User537510
VOTE NO JIM O'GRADY FOR JUDGE To all Franklin County residents, Elections for public office are nearing and the residents of Franklin County have many choices. However, in one particular race I want you to know why I feel very strongly that Jim O'Grady is a very poor choice for judge. A Judgeship is a very powerful position whose decisions affect many peoples’ lives. The position calls for an individual who is willing to stand up for victims as well as punish those criminals for wrongdoing. The job requires someone who can be impartial even when faced with many political pressures. Jim O’Grady now holds a position as Assistant Prosecutor another powerful position. That position requires an individual that does not believe a person is guilty until proven innocent. The Assistant Prosecutor works closely with the courts and Judges on many matters including bonds. So what happens when alleged rapists, pedophiles, robbers and serious criminals are given bond and a man that has been brought in on a bogus civil case warrant is refused bond? In my case, that Jim O’Grady prosecuted, he stood by and allowed bad things to happen as disgusting as it was. What I will tell you was confirmed by retired police officers, attorneys, and even a retired judge. If you voters put Jim O’Grady in office as judge, here is what happened to me and something similar could happen to you or someone you know.. My family and I were victims of several property crimes that occurred several years ago in Key West, Florida. Although reported, these crimes never were investigated by local police there because of the “good old boy network” that exists in that community. After I was victimized including several death threats and nowhere to turn, I decided not only to get the word out about our victimization but also blow the whistle to the state government on illegal actions I witnessed. The state confirmed the whistle blowing allegations and the same criminals that victimized my family were being fined for other illegal actions they were involved in. The sad part is that several attorneys were involved with these crimes and were very well connected. Several months after blowing the whistle and two of the attorneys involved in this small town filed a bogus civil case against me to silence me. I was never served the summons for this bogus civil suit and the local court dockets show the summons was lost. Several months after the filing of the bogus civil suit in Key West, I was surrounded by FBI agents, Columbus police, and others. I was pulled out of the car and thrown into the back of a paddy wagon like an animal. An hour or two later I was told I was under arrest… — As a fugitive from justice in Florida — Fleeing the jurisdiction. The sad part is I could have never been a fugitive from justice nor fled jurisdiction because I never lived in Florida for years and had not even been there for several years. Remember this all stemmed from a civil case..... Never before having hand cuffs on or being in jail, I was furious something like this could happen. However, I was sure that by fighting extradition to Florida someone would clearly see this injustice and put a stop to it. Here is where Jim O’Grady came on the scene as Assistant Prosecutor. I remember standing in front of the courtroom with Jim O'Grady on his platform next to the judge. I remember being told by attorneys that the prosecutors office was pushing for no bail. The sad part is Jim O' Grady recently confirmed without a doubt that EXTRADITIONS STEMMING FROM CIVIL CASESARE NOT DONE... Well, he allowed it to happen in my case. I was dumped into the Franklin County Jail and extradited to Key West, Florida. You have to wonder why I was dragged into the Franklin County Jail like an animal, -abused and humiliated there for over 100 days while there all stemming from a civil case that cost the taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars. In addition, my health deteriorated in the jail, during an odyssey of horror on the way to Key West in custody, and in jail in Florida to the point where I now receive full social security disability. I recently filed suit against the county and Sheriff for brutal abuse of an inmate. I was held in jail for 100 days and was not allowed to leave because of Jim O'Grady’s doing. I was brutally abused all because of several out-of-state attorneys with connections in high places reaching all the way to two governor’s offices and a local judge issued a bogus warrant to help his friends out. This is an e mail from Jim O'Grady confirming what attorneys, judges and others have already confirmed: “From your last question answered its my understanding extraditions are not done on Civil cases is that correct ? Correct, no extraditions on civil cases. This answer shows this should have never happened to myself and my family. Several questions still remain... — Did Assistant Prosecutor Jim O'Grady allow himself to overlook an injustice being done because it was done by fellow attorneys and a judge in Florida? — Did Jim O'Grady honestly not catch what was going on right in front of him and it was an honest mistake. Either way my family deserves and answer and so does the public. If it was a mistake, is Jim O'Grady man enough to admit there was wrong doing and try to help make a right ? I will update my finding if and when Jim O'Grady decides to re-open this case file and confirm what happened to me and my family should never have happened. Thank you LATEST NEWS... F.B.I. CONFIRMS ALSO LIKE O'GRADY DID THEY DONT PICK PEOPLE UP FOR WARRANTS STEMMING FROM CIVIL CASES ??? SO AGAIN WHY WAS I ??? HERE ARE THE RESPONSES FROM SEVERAL F.B.I. OFFICES If the warrant is a failure to appear at a civil suit, then the local authorities will handle the arrest, depending where the offensive happened and where they are located presently. The FBI does not pursue local warrants. Call the local police department and discuss the issue with them. Thank You, Cincinnati FBI The FBI would not handle this. Please contact the local law enforcement agency or courthouse that issued the warrant. Thank you, FBI Jacksonville The FBI would not handle a warrant related to a civil case. Please contact your local law enforcement office. Thanks
