Jaime Cooper Consulting Back Bay Search Craigslist Advertising Abuse - Muliple Postings - Misleading Locations Naples, Florida |

Beware of Jaime Cooper deceptive advertising program. 1. All Craigslist members agree to the following "CONDUCT You agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available Content: w) post the same item or service in more than one classified category or forum, or in more than one metropolitan area;" Jaime Cooper posts several hundreds ads a day, sometimes multiple times in the same market. This is deceptive, spam and an abuse of Craigslist. 2. Craigslist advertisers post a title followed by (location of their business). Although Jaime Cooper is located in Florida, ads placed on Craigslist indicate locations in New York, San Francisco, Houston. Local postings are for local businesses. Recent ads include: Professional RESUMES To Market Your Experience - (Sacramento) Atlanta Resume Writing (Atlanta) Ashville Resume Writing - (Asheville) Knoxville Resume Writer - (Knoxville) Nashville Resume Writing - (Nashville) Greenville Resume Enhancement | Resume from Scratch - (Greenville) Jaime Cooper is not Located in Sacramento, Knoxville or Greenville although the advertising implies as much. 3. Jaime Cooper website does not indicate pricing, but as indicated in recent groupon advertising resumes start at $215 and I imagine can go between $300 and $500. These numbers are not indicated when you begin interacting with this company. If advertising behavior is any indication of this company's ethic, then their sole motivation is to take free advertising and deceive Craigslist users for the purpose of making money. Think twice before engaging this service. |

I'm reading this post and I am trying to figure out how this company is a scam. None of the ads produced by Jaime Cooper indicate that they are located in these cities, so where is the fraud. It's a resume writing service. There is reasonable expectation that the company does not operate locally (just like a million other companies that advertise on Craigslist). It may be posting abuse, but it's not fraud. I've done several Google searches and with the exception of the mutiple postings that the original poster has posted on any and every complaint board, Jaime Cooper Consulting has a very good reputation and has received several recommendations from job seekers on professional social networking sites such as Linkedin and social networking sites and review sites like Yelp. So my question again is this: Are you reporting fraud or posting abuse? Because trust me, no one cares about posting abuse. It is what it is. We're more interested in the fraud. Have you solicited their services via Groupon or directly through the site and if so was the final product satisfactory? Why or why not? Can you provide a link for consumers to view the the unsatisfactory final product (Youtube, Google group, Yahoo Group, bit url site, etc.)? These are the things we want reported...Not posting abuse!
And in regards to the company not posting rates, most resume writing services do not. There are quite a few that do, but the reputable ones do charge $200-$750 and it's on a case by case basis. Nothing is cookie cutter when it comes to a service such as resume writing. So the rate argument is a non-argument/non-issue if you ask me. Anyone with a modicum of intelligence can ask for a quote or a list of services and the fees in writing.
I'm not sure who posted this, nor do I really care, but it sounds like a disgruntled employee or someone who lacked the intelligence to do additional research on the company. If you want to blow the whistle on a company, do your research first. This truly was a bogus post. |
