I attended a presentation at a Hotel in Phoenix to hear this emotional plea to save me as a Timeshare Owner. “Buckle up” the cost of maintaining your Timeshare could double in the next three to five years, says Michael Morales, the pitchman for this scam. He continues; “Thank goodness we have an opportunity to save you from this unfair fate put upon you by the Timeshare Developers. After an hour and a half of him telling you how the “industry” is screwing the Timeshare Owners he turns right around and asks you to buy into a Travel Club for the Low-Low Price of $10,900 today. But wait – There’s More! If you do it today and DO NOT take the FREE Trip, for two, to Cancun, we’ll discount the price by $2000.00! Oh and since you already own a Timeshare we’ll give you another $1000 off as a; “We’re sorry you own Timeshare Discount. Oh, you don’t like that low discount price…wait I think we have a Deal that is in DISTRESS. That means that you could pick up where someone else could not make their payment(s) for only $5400…Oh and if you want to pay in Cash we’ll give you another $500 off. Now you’re down to $4900 of your hard earned money to buy “AIR” with a $200 per year annual fee. Plus you still have to pay for the accommodations at a discount rate (???). Good luck with that. What a Deal! Sign me up! You hypocritical thieving crook, they should arrest you just for showing up to attempt this swindle. If your first clue: “We’re only here for a few days and then we’re off to…” does not resonate with you then ask this obvious question: “Where is your permit to do this type of business in this state?” Whoops! Wrong question for them. Why? Because they DON’T HAVE ONE that’s why. Do yourselves and others a favor when you get the “private, we can’t advertise” invitation from them over the phone – Call your Attorney General’s office and give them the information that they need to stop these people from stealing from anyone else – including yourself. If you fall for this it’s your own d**n fault. You have been warned. Take the warning as good advice. Oh by the way, if you did buy before you read this tell all, contact IDL, LLC., immediately to CANCEL. If that does not work contact your Bank or Credit Card Company and ask them to institute a “Chargeback” (refund) of your money. If that doesn’t work – call your Attorney General’s office and tell them that you’ve been scammed by a Travel Club based in Las Vegas, NV. They’ll help you with the rest. How passionate are we now, Michael? |
