K&S auto brokers indian land SC sells lemon cars disconnects check engine light to insure you won't find a problem Fort Mill, South Carolina |

I bough a car from K&S auto brokers in Fort Mill SC. They told me a child left an interior light on and it needed a new battery and I could pick it up the following day. The following day I showed up to pick up the car. They backed it up to me and cut off the ignition. When I went to start it to leave, it wouldn't start so they took it back to the mechanic. The mechanic said he replaced computer, crank censor, and fuel pump. Two days later I was being towed back to the mechanic. He said car wasn't doing anything wrong and it was good to go. Less than a week later I had to have it towed again. This time I chose the Jeep dealer (since this is a jeep product) I was quoted $750 for a new computer to be synced to my car. K&S auto brokers told me they could have it fixed for under $200 and would not pay the cost of having the dealer work on the car. Again 2 days later I barely made it back to the Jeep dealer because the car kept shutting off. Four days later I got the car back with a new o2 censor, another $250 service. A little over a week of having my car back I have tried to trade out cars with K&S and tried to get out of my contract with the finance company. I was told no by both companies. So, here it is, owned the car for 40 days and have driven it half that time. Now it needs a new catalytic converter and another o2 censor is shot. As it turns out, the reason the check engine light has not been coming on is because the wire was disconnected. I have nearly been killed in this lemon several times due to it malfunctioning. 5 years ago, my mother bought a car from them and it needed $1500 worth of work done to it right off the lot. I thought it was a fluke and gave them the benefit of the doubt of selling quality cars. HAHA silly me! |

As a worker and car buyer from k&s auto brokers I can assure you this is not correct. We have never disconnected a check engine light and never would. And we told you to take it back to our mechanic who had been paid to fix it. I also know we didn't sell your mom a car since we started selling cars to the public 13 months a go and have only sold cars to anyone for 2 years |

Sounds like your problem is with the mechanic, not the dealership. Did they sell the car with a warranty? You probably purchased the vehicle AS-IS. Why would you pay the Jeep dealership and it not be fixed? Why would you take it to the mechanic AFTER you bought it instead of before?? I've personally purchased 2 vehicles from K & S Auto Brokers and my mom has purchased 1 from them with NO issues. Sorry to hear about your problems, but it sounds like your problem is with the mechanics, not K & S. Just my 2 cents. |
