IC * FREESHIPPING.COM is charging my checking account at least 1x a month, sometimes more, for $12.97 per month. When I attempted to find out what they were charging me for (about 2 months ago) - I called the 800# listed on my bank statement (there is no # on my most recent bank statement) and I was told that I was paying a monthly service charge to access all files and records on "Ancestery.com" - though I don't recall ever registering for that site. I asked them to cancel my account and give me a credit for any, if any, previous charges, as I NEVER ACCESSED their site! I apparently did not notice the reoccuring charge on my Aug 2011 statement; however, I just got my Sept 2011 statement & the charge is there. I pulled my Aug statement & I found that my account was charged twice in Aug 2011. Being that there is no longer a phone # listed - I decided to do a google search for "IC * FREESHIPPING.COM" - and I was lead to Ripoff Report - where I learned about the fraud this site is getting away with! I would like to know how they got my bank account information; as a matter of fact on my statements it states the last 4 # of the debit card used or check # etc.... But for this charge it does not state how the money is being paid to them, it just is!
