I ordered some door clips from jeep4X4center.com. The clips were found by searching for the Make and Model of the vehicle, a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The wrong clips were sent. The clips sent were for a different make and model. The discovering was not made that the clips were the wrong clips until several months after the purchase, when the clips were being installed. At this time a call was made to Morris 4X4 Center and I spoke with Nancy Poole. Nancy immediately said that since the order was placed past 30 days prior to the call, nothing could be done. I explained to her that the mistake was not a mistake made by the customer, but rather a typo on their website. She advised me she would contact the Mopar Dealership to investigate if this was true. Later that day I received the following email: I apologize but at this point we cannot take back the fasteners. I have called Jeep and these are the correct year for the Jeep. This is over our 30 day period for the returns. Thank you. Regards, Nancy Poole Customer Service Manager [email protected] 1-877-553-5337 Extension 475 I then went to the local Mopar Dealership to see if I could figure out what happened and why the parts didn't fit. I found out that the clips were larger ones used on the Dodge Caliper & PT Cruiser and that they wouldn't work on the Jeep Grand Cherokee. I then sent an email to Nancy explaining that the part # she has isn't for the Jeep Grand Cherokee, like her website says and I gave her the correct part number, which was provided by the local Mopar Dealership. I also sent her clear evidence that was found on the internet by simply searching the wrong part number and the new part number. I have given Nancy time to respond, but she hasn't done so. I have explained in an email that all I would like is to exchange the parts for the correct ones. I would suggest that no one use this business because the information on their website is inaccurate and the website uses references and scripture from the bible in an attempt to gain the trust of their victims, which I find a bit creapy since I am a christian. |
