had to purchase an E-book that would cost me us9.92, i taught fine only us 10.00 it would cost.So i proceeded to fill in the necessary information.I gave them them information from my credit card.I was then taken to a site where i was given instruction to begin to create the website,As i progress to follow the instuction ,i was asked to upgrade to Vip status that would cost me us$o0-50:00 i decline.iwas then prompt to upgrade to the PRO status on a trial basis in order for me to proceed to the next stage of the website building.I was told that my creditcard details was necessary but i would be billed. That was a lie ,i was charged us$19.92. The alarm went off in my head,as i realized i was Mislead to beleive that the actual cost to build my web with the E-book was just us$9.92.So i decided to contact my friend to ask why he would forward me such a scam link. When he told me he did not send me the emails.Almost everyone one in his contact have received the mails and was calling him about it. I knew then i was in deep trouble. HomewebsiteBuilder then sent me to an affiliate company named Bidvertiser Advertiser, this site was to help me to get traffic to my supposedly website, and to set up an clickbank a/c where i would start getting revenue. .Suffice it to say i did log on to Bidvertiser on a trial based first pending approval from them that the accepted my Ad.They too had my creditcard information. The good thing is Bidvertiser actually sent me a confirmation email and also an activation link when my ad was approved, That was my saving grace where bidvertiser was concern .I was able to cancelled the subscription before they actually start billing me. I didnt received the E-book,nor any confirmation letter, nor activation letter from Homewebsitebuilder so i taught i would only lose the us$30, that they had initicially charged me. I received my credit card statement with us$9.92 from PLIMUS.check there Website found they have 3orders # from me with my card info.,Tried to cancel my subscription, thats not going through, tried to tell tell they have duplicated my bill without success. Went online to do some investigation, only to discover that my worst Nightmare was true ,Homewebsitebuilders was a scam others have fallen victim too. Last night i could find evidence of my credit info on PLIMUS website along with their address ,the supposedly orders that was done with my card. When i inputted the last 4digits of my card along with my email address. Since i read your report the Ripoff Report i try to go back on PLIMUS website and key in the last 4 digit and email address ,only now to be told that no record of any order any longer exist, very strange when they had 3 good thing i had the forsight to write them down last night.
