Mr William Fain, he calls himself, actually Mr. William Wright, claims to be someone who offers help to those who are losing their homes to foreclosure. Mr. "Fain" states that he can put you in a better situation by negotiating a short sale on your property with your lender. I was told that I would not have a foreclosure on my credit if he was able to do this and that I would owe the bank no additional monies under any circumstances. He claims to have worked on several homes with short sales and that he has been in the business for many years. I later found out that he indeed had only sold one property, which was our property that he did absolutely no work to and turned around immediately and sold for a $30,000 profit. He lied to the mortgage company about being a realtor, treated us like we were the scum of the earth and then turned around and made a huge profit on our misfortune. He is an opportunistic liar, also has a roofing company called Fleur De Lis roofing in New Orleans that i found through this site as well where someone posted about him being a scam artist. This guy has no idea what he is doing, it took him over a year to get our file completed and told us he was going to help us with money, which he did not. The mortgage company still is coming after us as apparently Mr. Fain signed a prommisary note on our behalf without our authority and now the mortgage company is saying if we dont pay that we will have a foreclosure on our credit. Do not let this guy help you, he is very ignorant and he is a liar.
