Dry wood termites are common in Florida. Thus, when we discovered we had an infestation 4 years ago, we called Hewlett. They decided we did not need our house tented and that the problem could be "spot treated". They performed the treatment and then told us we should purchase a service agreement, whereby they would continue to guarantee their services should we have another infestation. They charged us $265 a year for the next four years and never stepped into our house again to do another inspection or treatment. This year, we found we had termites in the attic area and the house required tenting for treatment. Hewlett would not honor their warranty because "tenting is not included." So we paid over $1,000 for absolutely nothing. They did not guarantee anything. We ended up having to hire another Firm to perform the tenting treatment, costing us another $1,500. But, at least, now we are dealing with a respected, national Firm, which guarantees that no matter when or where the infestation re occurs, they will re treat including tenting. Do not hire this company. They are rude, disrespectful and lying cheats. Not to be trusted and they take your money and run.
