Am I the only one who asks the question about how our Department of Motor Vehicles can charge its citizens every year for registration on a vehicle? How many times must I tell the state who owns the car? I always wondered how they can charge more money for newer cars? Heck for that matter why we need to pay them at all! Iknow that the Department of Motor Vehicles is just an extortion scam to generate money for the Government. It reminds me of the street gangs who extort money from their local venders just for doing business in their turf! And what do you suppose they do to them? Its obvious the Federal government does not like the compitition! Now I am sure that some Federal agent with those dark sunglasses, black suit and that little wire ear peice will come knocking on my door and arrest me for insighting a government overthrow!! And all the while I am wondering what ever happened to our freedoms! I dont know if this post will even make it on the board to be read by other citizens, but one thing for sure, I will always ask these obvious questions out loud! And maybe some day we can take back control of those who work for us and stop the wasteful extortion scam!
