I ordered a complete TV Series of Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts on DVD.
"The Complete TV Series On DVD" is how it was worded. I received a box of plain platic wrapped DVDs with hand written numbers on each disk. All contained in one plastic box. This was shipped from China with no return address or product return info in the box. I noticed they looked very unprofessional and not at all like the ones a friend of mine has.
I didn't have a chance to view them until just last weekend. First two DVDs had nothing on them. We watched the third one and it skipped and jammed and was very faded and blurry.
Looked like someone pointed a camera at their TV screen and made a DVD from it. I found my internet receipt and wrote them. Now I am in the midst of a "pissing contest" where they are claiming an "Official DVD Collection has never been released for ths series and what I have received is a "Collectors/Fan Version." I told them I wanted to return the whole set and get a refund, but they keep emailing me with the same line of BS. Now they want me to go through each DVD and tell them which ones are no good so they can replace them! Their letters are very professional and very nice as they keep assuring me they will rectify any issue I might have. Each email comes from a different female at a Gmail address. I am going to call my credit card company next and insist on a chargeback. This is ludicrous. Sure wish I'd checked here before I wasted $75.00. Buyers, beware.
