Well, I did some job searching on Craigslist (I know, totally unreliable) but, some are legit.
I applied for a position in Admin in Minnesota and I received this email:

I went to the site and applied with my personal info first then went on to the next page where they ask for a credit report check and will also allow you to click a link to get one.
My personal take, I don't think that this is even neccassary to be sharing such personal information with any employer over the internet! This smelt like a scam to me. Maybe a different story if they interviewd you and then offered you a position but before they proceed as for a credit check? I mean, that would be a little more legit.

i received one saying almost the exact same thing in Huntsville AL. I didnt even go to the link until i searched them on google. Mine came from the HR offices of Brianna Jackson, who does live in town. I imagine if you search for taylor thomson, that name belongs to someone in your town too. yes, some job ops on craigs list are legit, but always be wary and never click on any links unless you fully check the company out first!

Yea, I recieved the exact same email and did my research before finishing anything. So just to make sure people don't fall for it. Here is my proof as well. Sad that people are trying to take advantage of hard working citizens trying to just find a good job in this crappy economy...
