Attn: Mr Bill Krah, residential manager This letter is too funny. And yet, it angers me also. You should read your letter and MY COMPLAINT to see how ridiculous this sounds. As I said, ignorance and illiteracy too.
FIRST, I did not express concern about y system not communicating properly. You did by continuously harassing me with phone calls and notes on my door. READ my complaint. Then you say you realized the system was taken over by ADT.
And the joke that you are doing your job is another issue. You have never done your job; if you had done your job I would not have gone with ADT knowing I would be subjected to duplicate monitoring fees. If you had been doing your job, why did I go several months with just a cell phone and you didn't call or harass me about y service not communicating properly. If you had been doing your job, you would have noticed my system was no longer communicating when I took out my home phone. But you didnt; I had to call you when I realized from speaking with a friend that did tne same thing. Oh, and by the way, she was notified by her company. Wow, what service you provide. Then you representative makes it sound like the outrageous cell phone monitor is payble by the month and not that the service is higher when using the cell phone. Then I get a $375.00 bill payable at once. And by the way, ADT charged $199.00 for this part and they said you do not charge tax on it, which you did. What do you do? keep the tax as a bonus? After speaking to 4 different representatives who told me they would put this on monthly installments, but didn't, I finally get an installment bill. Wos, what service. I repeatedly asked you for a copy of a contract, for at least 6 months, with no response. Wow, what service. Not until I went through your internet site and complained, did I get one.
First your representative orders a credit bureau report and doesn't tell me. According to the rules of the FTC, that is illegal. Second, he just conveniently forgets to tell me about the 5 year contract. I wish I could remember his name, maybe Chris?? But apparently you train your people this way.
Yes, I am aware that there is a 30 month contract left, only because I called to cance and was told about it. And yes, I know it's an obligation; but you obviously don't care about your obligations to protect and serve your customrs. This is obviously how you get your unhappy customers to stay with you; by conveniently not telling them teh facts and expecting them to read the fine print when all your representative does is ask them to sign. I don't have time to read the fine print; I expect you to tell me everything a you are the one representing your ocmpany. I shouldn't have to worry about having things show up on my credit report Ididn't know about or finding out about a 5 year contract when you don't provide the service you are supposed to. I know my obligations and I honor them but I can tell you a good lawyer can tear those obligations apart and you know. There are things such as "class action lawsuits" which will take care of liars, cheaters and mis-representers like you. You get your satisfaction by forcing customers to stay with you for fear of a contrac breach; but I don't deal with a business that doesn't do what they promise to do. You can't make me stay with your company by forcing me to pay a double fee. And I get my satisfaction in knowing I have told everyone I know about the lies and the lack of service that Guardian provides and I have a lot of respect in Austin and I know a lot of people. So for the ones you force to stay, you have lost well over that many. You play dirty; I do too. Customer service is 100% for me and you are 0% on customer service. I have worked in customer service for 40 years and I work 2 full time jobs, whcih is the only reason I have not taken the time to get a lawyer and challenge you on this worthless contract.
ADT told me everything, the contract period, the credit bureau pull, even the credit score they got. They also told me the cell phone guard was safer than through a home line. Your people didn't tell me that.
I don't know how many times I have to tell you NOT to call me or contact me as I am blue in the fact from telling you not to contact me as my system is NONEXISTENT, which you obviously don't understand or maybe you think you can win me back. With me 3 strikes and your're out and you had well over 3 strikes with me. I will continue to send all of my correspondences that I send you to the Better Busines Bureau of Austin, the FTC of Dallas and the Attorney General of Austin and there is no doubt in my mind one of these facilities will take care of you..
