Greentech Imaging Deceptive misleading toner sales sky high prices product not worth @#%@ Chatsworth, California |

I was phone solicited by this company for a 10 day trial offer for toner for a printer in our office. Told them that we never use toner that fast. They would extend the offer for 30 days. They made all these promises of how great their product was and the yeild was double that of manufactured toner cartridges. I thought why not give it a chance. Saw that it was going to be longer than 30 days and went ahead and paid for the overpriced (cartridge and shipping were both priced high) product. I get a phone call stating thank you for the payment and the rest of my cartridges would be on the way. I told them this was not explained to me in the initial transaction, but agreed to it since the original cartridge was still in use. Received them and paid for them promptly. Still overpriced. Received another phone call thank me for the payment and was told the rest of my order would be shipped next week. This was never explained to me but they told me in order to get their wonderful pricing I had to buy a box of 8. So 2 months after the first cartridge was installed it stopped working. The same amount of time I get out of a refilled cartridge at a fraction ($27.00 compared to $132.00) of the price. I now have more money wrapped up in this company with a few cartridges than I would spend in 2 years. My warning: Investigate phone solicitors before buying, say away from this company and if you have any bad deals don't turn them into the BBB it doesn't do any good unless they are a member. Turn them in to their stae's attorney general. After so many complaints the AG will investigate them and find out about their unscrupulous business activities. I've learned my lesson the hard way. When I get contacted by them again I will be warning them to leave me alone and will be turning them in. |

Hey did you pay attention when I went over the order with you or were you too busy doing something else. Next time ask buyer questions and be informed in what it its you are agreeing in part to. Besides you could always cancle the order and it its not against the law to ask you to try something out. You should have gotten another extension on your trial time. I would have given it to you. |

I am going through the same thing. I now have. 22 cartridges. The last time we spoke I bought what I needed to "close" the account. Now she says I still need more to fulfill my order. They keep talking in circles and never give you a straight answer. They say I agreed to buy 48 but they were kind enough to change it to 36. I told her to send me the recording where I agreed to this. Then she talks in circles again saying I can buy office supplies instead. Are you kidding me? Why on earth would I agree to buy 48? She says she checked the recordings. I said great play it for me. She said that was another department that does that. She would call back in a month. No!!! |
