My story started out when my son was in the 1st grade and met a new kid in school. They became friends, but little did I know that innocent meeting would soon become a nightmare considering who the parents are. That child last name is Beiter, as in Michael and Donna Beiter! He was smooth operator, and seemed very sincere about trying to get us to invest in this NO LOSE deal with silver. We knew them approx. 18 months before Michael approached us with this scam. Our kids were very close, usually spending most weekends together, and I guess I got a false sense of loyality from these unethical people.
We invested 25,000 of our retirement, thinking we would soon have some extra income, unfortunately we all know that would never happen.
I have followed the same path as most of you writing in this blog, trying to figure out how this could have happened to me. All I can say, they will get what they deserve whether it is on earth or judgement day.
I hope Donna may read this so I could tell her what a fake she is and how she disgusts me now when I think of all the time she cried on my shoulder about the issues she had with Mike.
I may never recover any of the money I "invested", but I know I can sleep at night and feel I do my best to treat people fair and right.
