CUSTOMER SERVICE/FRAUD $6000.00 |

I contacted and subsequently went for consultation with NuU Medspa and paid a 3000.00 deposit for Smart Lipo. Since that time I have paid another 3000.00 and scheduled an appointment for service on Feb. 23, 2011. That appointment and 2 more have been cancelled lost (meaning they had nothing on the books). Due to my dissatisfaction with how my service was being handled I informed Lex, one of the employees, that I am requesting a refund. He asked me "WHO WROTE YOU UP, " and implied I needed that information to begin refund process. By the way when making payments I wasn't asked any questions! I have not received a call from anyone and when attempting to contact someone in authority I was put off with promises to have someone get back to me. Not only is this company inconsiderate in handling appointments considering most of us need to make arrangements to be there and have subsequent recovery time they appear to be committing fraud by accepting payments and not providing the service. I recommend not giving this company any money because something is very wrong. The receptionist claimed she only knew the first name of the vice-president an no one is available to discuss a potential complaint. These people are horrible in handling customer concerns or just theives. |

Also, this company has a pending case with the Attorney General of Illinois for deceptive marketing and has several (6+) unresolved open cases with the Better Business Bureau. |

I had a similar issue with Axiology. I also was requesting a refund and "dealing" with Lex who would never return my calls and never gave me straight answers. He told me how they do not honor Nu packages that I had already paid for but never received treatment on. Their staff is the worst I have ever experienced when it comes to customer service and the aestheticians are terrible. They don't know what they are doing and I also believe it's one big scam. |
