| I URGE anyone who comes in contact with Giuseppe Pugliese of New York Film Studios to run the other way! This guy is the LOWEST of LOW when it comes to scamming and stealing artist's money! I placed an ad on Craigslist looking for a music video producer for a song I was looking to shoot a music video for. And He responded to my ad. First off, this guy had a "supposeded" Buster Rhymes video which he "supposedly" was the one who shot, when come to find out.....that was TOTALLy a lie! As standard, when you someone is trying to find a video director, they first meet to discuss ideas etc.....Would you believe that after pulling teeth to get him to agree to meet for the "FIRST" meeting, he only wanted to meet with under the conditions that I sign on the dotted line with his BOGUS contract and put down a deposit of $690 for a 2k video I was going to do. Silly me, I didn't see that red flag and foolishly agreed to those BOGUS terms which does not happen in real life NOR with real music video producers! THe contract stated that he was supposed to get the rest of the money in installments after several services where rendered, which NEVER got done! Literally a week after getting the first deposit, Giuseppe Pugliese, was asking for the second installment, claiming that he had found a location, booked it and now needed the money to hold the spot. And that we only had the spot for only 5 hours!!! Which is NOT industry standard when shooting a music video. There is NO way that a full performance shot takes only 5 hours to do when you have set up time, prepe, hair and make up, and crew has to assemble etc.... So at the point I realized I was dealing with a True crook who just scammed me out of $695 and was trying to make off with the rest. When confronted and told that I no longer wanted to shoot the video and he had to return my deposit of $690 which he SCAMMED me from out of, He had the gaul to say that he would not, because the $690 paid for work he did, booking fees etc......Which AGAIN come to find out, NEVER was! He NEVER booked the location that he claimed to have booked, never was in talks with those people, never ANYTHING!!!! He also costed me more money to have him served because I intend to sue him! Which again, ironically enough, when served, he again.....NEVER responded......which proved him to be the liar that he was! Because if indeed he DID book locations, actors, etc like he said he did, he would of had record of all those things to indeed come to court to defend himself!!! With no surprise, he NEVER showed UP!!!!!!!! So my advice to ANYONE, ANYONE who comes anywhere near Giuseppe Pugliese of New York Films Studios, Italian kid in his thirties with black hair, RUN THE OTHER WAY unless you want your money STOLEN from you!!!!!! HE IS A LIAR AND A SCAM ARTIST!! DO not be scammed out of 1k total which the whole ordeal end of costing me, like I was!! And REPORT him!! Crooks like that should NEVER get away with doing such devious things Scotch free like he did! |

There is a false posting on this site, from someone wanting to make themselves look better after losing a lawsuit. Everything was handled properly and this person who posted has been harassing me, to the point that there is a formal police report against her.
Please take down this derogatory post or I will have to take legal action against your site. This is 'defamation of character' as well as 'harassment' and 'cyber bullying', all which are against the law. I handled everything properly and to the T according to both agreed upon services and signed contracts.
Now as your 'terms of service' state that person with User ID: User168878 agrees to NOT post the following below: ( and did, which means they are subject to being removed as a member and their posts removed as well)
1) Upload, post or otherwise transmit any Content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable;
2) "Stalk" or otherwise harass another individual or merchant;
This person is in violation of both of your terms set when signing up with this site. I have proven documents of both of those terms being violated by this person, which means it is your duty to remove someone from your site in violation of your terms of service.
Please do the right thing and remove this user as for there is a legal harassment filed against this person. |

Giuseppe JOE Pugliese is a fraud and lies about everything from his experience to claims on his "reel."
Ask for references from anything that he has claimed to shoot! You will see that no one will recommend him. |

These are complete fraudulent complaints in an attempt to destroy credibility from a disgruntled person. Both of these are from the same person that has been harassing and abusing his name and company name. A formal harassment case was made against this person. They had lost a court case in which they had lied about. Giuseppe Pugliese had never had any fraudulent accounts against him in any way. This person who keeps posting these seems to be unstable and abusive and even said death threats. That same day a police report was filed against this person because they were harassing and threatening over the phone and place of home. Everything was offered including a free revision of everything that was done, but all this person wanted to do was cause a mess for unknown reasons.
The case this person was referring to was a contract they signed for a music video shoot. All the information was up front and stated in the contract that they read and signed. Said person then wanted to cancel the contract even though a full week of work had already been done. This person who kept changing plans over and over again randomly called and canceled in a furry because it seems they wanted everything run their way. This person bought a service which was provided to them. Then this person wanted to have money refunded, which is not in the contract terms at all. This person paid for work done and it was NOT a deposit. This is the reason the case got thrown out by the court. There was no deposit ever made to Giuseppe or NYFS, it was a payment for work which had been ongoing.
All the information can be provided as proof for anyone who thinks Giuseppe or NYFS had any fraudulent accounts at all. This is just an attempt from this person to further harass Giuseppe and ruin a reputation which is spotless. Again all of Giuseppe's references and work are completely solid and contact information from all work done can be obtained if you are unsure. All items on reel have a complete background and can provide all references from producers and directors for the work. Pride is taken in costumer satisfaction and have many many satisfied and repeat clients. Please do not let this person fool you, it is just their attempted to harass. All paperwork and proof can be provided that no wrongdoing was done, and its a simple case of a disgruntled person trying to damage someone wrongfully. |

Joe cannot even attempt to rebut this report! This is an entirely separate report from an entirely different party. What's more, it catches Joe Pugliese | NewYorkFilmStudios in LIE #3 -- Joe claims that he worked for BRAVO. Read the report -- Joe never work for BRAVO nor was the project even sponsored by BRAVO.
He ripped off people on this shoot too!

2. You will absolutely not get a reference from Joe from any client of any notable scale or reputation. Moreover, you will never get a reference from Joe from any repeat client because they do not exist.
3. Why would anyone with clients that Joe claims to have even accept a $2, 000 music video budget? Why would anyone but a desperate con / rip off artist like Giuseppe Pugliese NewYorkFIlmStudios con try and take money from an artist trying to break into the scene?
4. Equally important, does Joe have any crew members that would recommend him? Are there Gaffers, Assistant Camera, Electrics, Grips with real resumes and reputations that would work with him? No!
