TAP Telemarketing If your a CPA looking to generate leads, I strongly suggest you do not use this service. I paid $1,000 for essentially 10 leads.

If you are a CPA looking to generate leads, I strongy suggest that you do not use this company. I paid $1,000 for 10 leads. I confirmed the first two myself. One business owner said I could come over "if I wanted to waste my time" and the other said he was perfectly contect with his current CPA. When I discussed this with the TAP representative, she defended these appointments saying that they wern't weak becuase they were scheduled. I built a $200,000 a year practice over 10 years by telemarketing myself and believe me leads like these are worthless. I asked the representative to replace these and she refused. I went on another appointment and the business owner said he wasn't even looking for a CPA and the telemarketer said "I would be in the neighborhood and I could stop in". Stop in for what, so he caould apologise for wasting my time. The next was a cancellation. That's 4 appts.

The next two were actually ok prospects. One that I might work with sometime in the future and another that actually looked liked he needed accounting and tax services. I currently have two more appts outstanding and TAP is busy telling me my program is over and they will not confirm thesae appts. This is after their representative told me they confirm all appts.

Basically, these people will waste your time amd you'll be lucky to sign a client and make your $ back.

After a doing a quality control report on this client, the accountant, and his project, we are posting our findings. TAP Telemarketing provided the client with a total of eleven appointments. A couple of days after the accountant posted this, he met with a prospect and they established a relationship to bring the prospect on as a client. They met with this accountant for a total of five to six hours, and they even signed contracts. After their third meeting, the accountant sent them a one liner email saying he didn’t want to bring them on as a client. The prospect has since signed on with another accounting firm. He’s paying $600.00 a month for accounting services. This is an annual earning of $7, 200. Even half of this amount would have been a significant return on the accountant’s investment. TAP Telemarketing provided the accountant with eight additional hours of call time to compensate for the appointments he didn’t approve of. The accountant was informed that TAP Telemarketing uses objections and rebuttals as most telemarketing companies do. These prospects agreed to the meeting giving a time and location. Additional information was provided to ensure that the accountant knew a conversation indeed took place. Closing prospects or sales is the responsibility of the accountant. It is determined by the overall value of your product, sales skills, people skills, and the ability to follow up with potential customers.

This was posted before the client went on all of his appointments, and he admitted in this posing that there were two possibilities. There was certainly one prospect that wanted his service. This is documented. He was extremely disappointed when his business was turned away especially after the time invested in the meetings. Contracts were drafted and signed. We offered the accountant additional hours of service to rectify his dissatisfaction after seeing this posting. This is offered to him regardless of whether he removes this posting or not. But based on the fact that there was a potential return on investment; we are exploring options to pursue this matter legally. All information is documented and this prospect who could have been a client provided detailed information. The other comments related to this are simple not true. In regards to how we actually use our call list, the comments make no sense. Nor have we had an employee by the name of John ever working for us. We are more than happy to provide references. The accountant did not go on all of his appointments before posting this. We found this to be unfair, and once again we are exploring this matter with our attorney as to dealing with this in a court of law. The IP addresses of the related post are under investigation as well with the proper authorities. They will be dealt with accordingly.

Thank You
