This company Gigats.com, phished my info from a career site and now I have no idea what they are doing with my info. There are two new websites signed up in my name, my phone is non stop ringing with rip off colleges calling, and somehow, my email. They actually stole all the information from my resume offline obviously. I want this company stopped.

Gigats, Applicant Tree and Beyond.com are affiliated with The Career Network, which sells job seeker information to college recruiters and other advertisers who bombard you with telephone calls and spam. All you have to do is apply to a job posted on one of their many job boards, or sometimes a legitimate job board because they may get their postings from other job boards rather than directly from employers. All of the Beyond.com and affiliated websites/job boards use an application form from either Application Tree or Gigats. When you try to submit the application, a profile is automatically created on Beyond.com for you using the information you entered and the resume you attached on the form. No, the application doesn't go to an employer, and often it's a bogus or expired job posting. The best strategy in your job search is to go directly to the employer's website to apply.

Some of the job boards/websites associated with Beyond.com are: Job Animal, Employer-Network, Mikeroweworks, Logistics Jobsite, Construction JobForce, SalesHeads, JobCircle, Engineer Jobs, Business Workforce, HealthCare Jobsite, Education Jobsite, Hospitality Jobsite, TechCareers, Financial JobBank and IndianapolisGigs, Look for the Beyond.com name and logo somewhere on the webpage. According to the Better Business Bureau, Beyond.com has gone out of business because they're not able to reach them. However, when I wanted to delete my profile from their website and another victim tried to complain, the contact email address and telephone number displayed on the website didn't work. They do still have a website. Whois data indicates their headquarters is in King of Prussia, PA . YP shows another address for them in Indianapolis, IN and has a link to their website.
