I had dealt with Gemstones in the past, bought nice monitors, even had friends go there, til my little elderly mother needed a computer and I suggested her buy from Gemstones.Worse mistake I have ever made.She bought a computer on October 1, 2010.First week, brought everything back, was told I could not get money back due to posted on window,(which never seen when going inside to buy this computer) no cash returns.The tower was making noises,couldnt get computer to load, always shut down.They repaired the fan motor, kept it for over 3 weeks, while my mother is still paying for internet service.They called me 1 time, to let me know it was ready to be picked up.I live in town, my mother lives 1.5 hours away.I picked up the computer, took it to my mothers, plugged it all in, low and behold, went to download enternet explorer, the whole thing shuts down on me.I try again, the same thing. Tells me there is no disk space, to check owners manual. Theres no owners manual. Pack the thing back up, drop it off again,they call me back several days later, tells me, its fixed.I go back pick it up take to moms.Guess what?Doesnt work.Debbie tells me I have no hard drive.Thats when I told her, Yes I know, I have been telling you this the last 3 times.Today is 12-10-10 they still have my mothers tower. They will not switch another one out, nor give money back on a 160.00 tower.Should of bought new. The employee( young lady) is very nice, but the owner Debbie, is not!If i have to I will hire a lawyer, and get everybody who has dealt with Gemstones,sue this company.Somethings has to be done!
