I will make this short and sweet.... My wife and I were scammed out of $2000+ dollars back in early-mid 2007. It has been in the back of my mind since and as I just came across this website the other day I noticed that there were others that had been scammed as well. Fun For Life Club International is a company that promises HUGE $$$ SAVINGS for vacation packages, air fares, cruises etc etc. People are required to join the club for a fee and pay a monthly, semi anually, anually premium in order to obtain these UNBELIEVABLE DEALS. Well these "DEALS" are not better (if anything they are worse) than anyone can find at your average travel agency or online travel websites. They are all a load of BS and hard working people like myself and my wife fell into a trap and were scammed of $2000+ dollars. **STAY AWAY PEOPLE** Also, I've noticed a few others claiming they would be happy to file some type of class action lawsuit.......let us know **WE WILL BE THERE WITH BELLS ON** D & R Toronto, Ontario Canada |

I bought two tickets for the Allegria show here in Fort Lauderdale. The price of the tickets was $88 each according to the website.
When I received the tickets, which were only black and white printouts on paper, they had been purchased by one Martin Broder and had originally cost $62.75 each. This TicketFast company had then raised the price up to $88 dollars, then charged a $25 shipping fee.
Last but not least, an additional $40.48 that was called "additional expenses" was slapped on, bringing the total up to $241.41 for two tickets that had originally costed $62.75 each.
Wish I had gone on the internet to check up this company, which seems to be in league with Ticketmaster, as it appears that it is not only me that has been conned.
Beware of this company, do not buy from them, as they appear to have scalpers working for them, then doing theire own scalping at the end... |

I got a phone call one day saying that I won 1 or 4 trip prizes, but in order to claim my prize, I had to go to the Fun For Life company for a 90 minute talk. Anyways, they wanted to sell me time-share. At first me and my husband said no, but then they kept on telling us how wonderful Fun For Life really was, so we said ok.
So our first trip that me and my family went on with Fun For Life was to Saint Maarten. We booked it through Fun For Life, and we paid for insurance. It was me, my husband, my 15 year-old son, my 12 year-old son, and my father-in-law. We were going to be there for one week. We were supposed to be there Sunday night, and leave Saturday night. But it didn't happen.
We got there Sunday night, but we got robbed on Tuesday night. I got cut with a knife three times. I got stitches on my hand, arm and head. My 15 year-old son got shot twice, and he survived. I had to leave my 15 year-old son in the hospital for a day and on Wednesday me and my 15 year-old son went on air ambulance to Port Lauderdale, then from Port Lauderdale to Toronto. We found out that Fun For Life never booked insurance for us. We were fortunate enough that my husband had insurance, or else we would be in over $50, 000 in debt.
We go back to Fun For Life wanting to get out of this "Crap For Life" scam, but they said that since we took a trip on them we cannot get out. After calling over and over again, getting frustrated over and over again, I finally got a hold of this one man, who told me to see this other lady, who told me to make an appointment to see this other guy. In the end I did not get out, but they lowered my weeks for time share, so I can get out of this "fun For Life."
Now after all this, I cannot get a hold of them, because somehow the business is no more. Although, you can find them on facebook, because I did it, and I found a "Fun For Life" group, and ex-workers from Fun For Life as well.
All I want is my money back for signing up with Fun For Life, but I know I probably won't get it. They never even sent out letters informing us that they were going out of business, or anything.
I am definitely not going to sign up with another time share company, because this is an expensive learning from ones mistake.
If anyone does have information, or has phone numbers that I can call, please give them to me, or something. I want my money back.
P.S. they just called my house, their new number is 1-888-808-4892 |
