On 03/03/2008, I purchase a three (3) years service warranty on my Benq W5000 projection tv which I had ordered from FrontierPC.com, (located in Canada) on 02/05/2008. The date repair master claim I purchase the service plans I did not have the projector tv, in fact, the projector tv was shipped from Canada on 02/05/2008. On 02/06/2011, I called repair master service because the projector lamp needed to be replace. I was informed that my service plans for the projector and the projector lamp expired on 02/05/2011. I informed them that according to a copy of the sevice plan purchase date I had in my hands was 03/03/2008. I also fax a copy of the service plans to them. Tuesday, 02/08/2011, I call repair master to ascertain if they had corrected the purchase date, they had not, they still claim I purchase the service 02/05/2008. I informed them that was not possible because I looking at the service plans (for projector and the lamp) which indicate the plans were purchase 03/03/2008 for three years and will expire on 03/03/2011. And inform them once more that I did not the projector on 02/05/2008, it was being shipped on that date. I inform the subject that I would fax copies of the service plan on the projector (purchased 03/03/2008), for the projector lamp (purchased 03/03/2008), a copy of the invoice #180205016 from FrontierPC.com showing the date of purchase (02/05/2008) and copy that FrontierPC.com shipped the projector tv which was 02/05/2008. The service plans were purchased almost a month after I had the Projector. What they are doing are using the product information from FrontierPC.com which I provided when I enrolled in the three years service plan. They are using FrontierPC.com 12 month coverage on the projector and lamp and they are only using two years of three years service warranty. I printed a copy today 02/13/2011 from my account indicating that. Under Warrantech Coverage they have: On-Site: yes, Parts: 24 Months, Labor: 24 Months, and Trip: 24 Months. Yet I paid $258.00 from 3 yrs. Under Manufacturer Coverage they have: Parts: 12 Months expires 02/05/2009 and Labor: 12 Months expires 02/05/2009. I paid repair master in good faith for a three years service plan and not for two years. |
