EZGO Movers Ltd. Horrendous service from the beginning to the end of the move, including movers breaking the elevator. Port Coquitlam, British Columb |

Move was schedule at 2:00, movers did not arrive until 3:30. Once they arrived, my husband had to help them move the furniture because of the time. - Despite my husband asking them several times if they knew how to get to the new place, they insisted they did and what was supposed to be a 10 minute drive took them 40 minutes and that was after 2 phone calls from them looking for directions. I might also add that there were a couple calls during the ride over where they did not know they dialed my number and I heard one mover complaining about it not being their fault that they we late. We were not really interested in whose fault it was but one thing we knew for sure was it was not our fault! - As with any condo move, the elevator has to be reserved. We had reserved the elevator from 3:00 to 5:00. The movers did not arrive at the condo until 6:15, consequently the elevator could not be locked off for any of the move. - My husband gave the movers our FOB and instructed them that they only had access to our floor (the 3rd floor) as each floor had their own FOBS. - When the movers finally arrived both my husband and myself began helping carrying furniture and boxes from the elevator to our condo as it was long past our allotted time to move in. - During the first load of furniture the movers dropped one of the pieces of our couch in a puddle (see attached picture) - We were waiting for a long time for the second load to arrive on our floor when I received a phone call saying that they were stuck on the 4th floor. Apparently they got in the elevator and didn't press the 3rd floor and as someone else had already pressed the 4th floor, they went there and not paying attention to the floor they were on, UNLOADED our furniture into the hallway. Only then to discover they were now stuck on that floor. While unloading our furniture they held the elevator too long and as a result they broke it. As we only have access to the floor we live on, including stairs, they and OUR FURNITURE were stuck on the fourth floor. I had to go stand in our lobby and ask people as they came in if they lived on the 4th floor and if they could give me access so I could "RESCUE" my furniture. You can imagine how embarrassing it was to not only ask our new neighbours but also that our movers were responsible for breaking the elevator. - I rescued the one movers by way of stairs and one mover starting moving furniture down that way. He had only been with the company a couple days and was extremely apologetic for everything that had happened and embarrassed at the service. We waited, and waited and waited for the second mover (the head guy I believe) to appear. The new mover was very frustrated with this mover as he had no idea what he was doing and why it was taking him so long. The senior mover once we met up had no apology and actually tried to tell my husband it was not their fault and we would have to pay more for the delay!!!!!!!!!! -The rest of our furniture had to be brought up by stairs and the senior mover was very disrespectful to both of us and our furniture. He basically threw boxes anywhere he felt like and I actually found him washing his face in my kitchen sink! My husband called CJ at EZGO Movers to advise how bad the service was and notify him about the elevator. He said to send him the invoice from the elevator repair company and they would pay it. We emailed the invoice and have sent several follow up emails with phone calls and he has now said he will not pay it. |
