I use this service for credit card processing on my website. After 2.5 years we decided to cancel. I was told we had a 3 year contract. I did not recall and asked for a copy of the signed page which they will not send. No biggie. My contract cost a minimum of $65 a month and expires December 18, 2011. I asked to cancel NOW (November 4, 2011) and pay for any outstanding time I owned. They said if I cancel now, even though its only a month away from the contract end date, they will charge us a $500 early out fee. Thats $440 more then what I owe if I ride it out, but they said it doesnt matter. Who ever hear of such a thing? Next, as I am very busy I asked the process to cancel with an effective date of December 18, 2011 in writing. I was told by TWO operators they will NOT accept a cancellation in writing and that I must call in December to cancel. Who ever heard of not accepting a request to cancel, on a contrats cancellation date, in writing? So again, I agreed to live out the contract adn pay the monthly fees. I asked only that I can send my request in writing to cancel it on end date. Their vvery firmly is NO they will not accept it and I MUST call in December if I want to cancel (or it will auto renew). I dont care how big this company is, when the head of the fish stinks the WHOLE fish stinks. This is a scam company that I would never suggest doing business with. PERIOD. scam. their number is 1.877.769.5259. Call them and ask yourself. You'll see.
