ERA Inc. (Embassy Research & Acquisitions INC.) offered me a job on 06/22/11 when tehy send me an e-mail, the job will be via Internet. They contact me via the University where I studied and where they published the job offer.
On 06/27/11 they interviewed me via Skype for the first time. The second interview was also via Skype. On 07/07/11 they sent me my hire package: an offer letter, a Mexican intern agreement and a direct deposit form which I should fill, sign and send them back. On 07/11/11 I sent all the papers to the address they told me.
They required a payment of $350 USD for a virtual phone system. This money will be reimbursed every month in increments of $116.67 USD. Plus a $1,000 USD as a stipend for the project will be paid every month too in increments of $333.33 USD.
I paid the 350 USD on 07/12/11 via Paypal. Also on 07/14/11 I paid $31.97 USD for a 3 month online number and 3 month unlimited USA calls on Skype they asked.
On 08/22/11 they send me a letter which said the position was closed and asked me to choose between reimburse the money I'd already paid or wait until 09/26/11 when the position will be reopened. I answered I need my money back because it is out of my budget and they agreed.
From 08/22/11 on Iâ€™ve been asking the reimbursement. Iâ€™d been writing to them many times. They gave me many dates to pay me; the last: 09/19/11. I thought I would receive any news on 09/26/11 because the position will be reopened on that date, but nothing. Now they donâ€™t even answer my e-mails. I even asked for support to the University but it was useless, after 2 e-mails they hadnâ€™t answered anymore.
It is a big scam. I think itâ€™s enough time for the reimbursement. Also they donâ€™t answer any e-mail and closed the e-mail account they gave me days after hired me.
